Breen Cruiser may be underpowered.

the idea isnt that they match klinks and roms as cloak raiders.

the idea is that they have cloaks and CAN raid.

your enemy might not be expecting it, and catching the enemy by surprise makes up for the breen cruiser's weaknesses.

even if u kill only a miner or two, as long as u are clever and dont lose ships yourself, you have done good. and with cloak this is quite possible.

They can raid just like Sabers can kill a research station, it's possible, but in a game with even a semi-competent opponent on a map that isn't huge you're probably going to end up paying dearly for it. Not losing any Breen will make it worthwhile, but the enemy will likely have a much better fleet than you that isn't super-specialized.

thats not true, breens can raid, just not as effectively as other cloakers.

your right,its very special firework... when you see all these ( 90% ) torps that missed the target flying futher away combined with flash from your exploding breen cruisers as these two klingon scounts own them, definately special and effective too if your goal is to make enemy player rofl.


Breen battle ship and cruiser are underpowered,these torpedos should be decent aggainst bigger targets but they miss to often,only thing they hit properly are starbases but they deal alot less damage them combined with their poor speed and high cost makes them absolutely useless.

Actually, in a large game, those misses can have an interesting effect.  When you're building at your base and suddenly see all those torps, you think you're coming under attack...but nope.  Nothing nearby.  Amusing way of causing confusion.  Just hope you're not the only one with torps that look like that.

Any destroyer....  something more than half of all torp hits average battle ship.Practical DPS of Breen Cruiser most times isnt much more than single bug

no,I played aggaist borg today....     tried to use these Breen Cruisers after long time,many people said they are good so I gave them another chance.It miss too much for unit that 1.have low dps even without accurancy problems 2. cost too much 3. Is slowest cruiser in game 4. Should be pride and strenght of Breen avatar 5. Is only equiped with torps that are not special in any way

You know dob, you've been on the forum a week and all you've done is complain about the Dominion being underpowered so I have to ask you, do you expect to start a game as the Dominion and walk all over everything? If so, where's the fun in that?

why dont u download a previous patch if u want breen ships to pwn everything. you obviously dont play online so u dont need to be on the latest patch. in previous patches breen ships were ridiculously op. which seems to be what you want from them.

We have one.  Its called the Borg Tac cube... its just so damn expensive the enemy can have a dozen ships lined up against you with the same time and resources a tac cube takes.

that would be useless,I want these changes to be official,so I can play MP with other people




no aggression in any of my post,that is illusion,it happens when you cant see the persons face expresion yet you read something that maybe someone can mean in rather aggressive way
