Yup, you are absolutely correct: I thought it would be something like "Increases your Supply stock by 250 1" ...."Increases your Supply stock by 250 2" and so on

I was expecting something more along the lines of 250 *Supply symbol*. I'm sure it was like that in previous versions.

ACS Torpedoes are a powerful modification of regular Quantum Torpedoes, adjusted to be most effective against battleships and similar targets. ACS Torpedoes are expensive to produce, so they will only be fired while Guided Quantum Torpedoes is active.
In times of war, deep space vessels like the Nova Class are often used as supply vessels to support the fleets, due to their increased storage capacity and better replicators. This allows up to 6 friendly Federation vessels nearby to fire additional photon torpedoes if they are equipped with a photon torpedo launcher.
In order to perform deep space missions, there is a set of modifications made to the chassis of the Norway. These modifications include more stable EPS nodes and advanced replicators, which may be used to replicate some supplies for the fleet.

Also, again, "those" needs to be changed to "these" for all Autonomous Defense AI passive descriptions.
Allows control over Borg drones to improve their energy usage. Installing this module twice allows transfer of fresh Vinculums to vessels, boosting their energy stores for assimilation.
Generates a tight EM field around this vessel, rendering hidden objects visible. Also installs an EM shield, negating the effects of passive abilities used against this vessel.

In the loading screen tips, the one for setting waypoints has the word maneuver misspelled as meneuver IIRC.
