We don't know what allows the drones to bypass shields, which is important in determinaning the effectiveness of any type of shield. If the design uses the wrong method of shield bypass, it could effect the normal advantage. They are described as a 'Projectile-energy hybrid', not entirely Projectile, which may prove to be an unforseen complication.

Assuming the drone users even targeted the port.

Seeing as how in SG-1 they targeted an exhaust port on a planet killing flagship (most obvious star wars reference in stargate) I'm pretty sure McKay would have an exhaust port attack plan ready.

They'd probably ignore the exhaust on the logic that "2 planet killing flagships can't have the same weakeness, right? It's too obvious."

none of your plans seem anything like stargate, they would send john sheppard on a suicide nuking mission to blow it up  :sweatdrop:

yeah that works too... o im refitting my atlantis with Asgard beam weapons, a whole bunch of rail guns, and 302 hangars. Why you might ask when you have already thousands of drones at your disposal, hehe I like to have options.

also important would be enjoyment, i would enjoy a flying city, because i could land and have huge quarters and have all the ameneties of a flying city. no holodeck though :P

...

the holodeck is on tier 3,  they just never found it in time.

the only problem with the Atlantian base as your ship is, finding a local ZPM-R-US store.

whole race of people, and they only had one base?  really?

if we are getting into silly ships, eveyone seems to be in for a Asguard Jack O'Niell ship,  but as that was the PROTOtype, and prototypes usually are glitchy, i'd hold out for the Daniel Jackson.  :D

untill we found the ZPM's - R - US  store anyways

Well you don't really fight with the sink... You hurl it at your opponent in desperation after your 30,000 turbolasers somehow failed to do the job and you proceed to run like a bitch.
