Optec wrote:Warp-In will get a change in the next patch, you will get 3 vessels at once (from normal warpin, experimental warpin stays as it is). All 3 vessels are selected randomly, but you have a good chance that one of it will be a larger one (a Nebula or a Galaxy)
Easy, when u say this will be in the new update do u mean 3.0.2, or have i been looking forward to some thing that wont come out till 3.0.3

Is it possible to get a trio of Galaxy's?

A trio of Galaxy´s? Nice Idea....
But I think more at the Galaxy-X Class...^^
I think also there should be more different Ships to Warp-In by the experimental-class....

I love the idea the devs have. I hate all super non-canon ships though...ie Galaxy X
.

Technically, I think the Galaxy X is actually Canon as it appeared in the TV series since:
"The Star Trek canon is usually defined as comprising the television series Star Trek, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Enterprise, and the ten motion pictures, and excluding everything else." (taken straight from Wiki - their source was the official ST website)
However, I too, would not like to see the Galaxy X in this game since it is an alternative universe ship. The idea for three warp in is good though and will add a bit more variety into the mix.

You're quite correct, I stand humble. But I guess what I meant to say is not...canon to the Fleet Operations timeline? xD

I love the Galaxy-X, too bad it isn't likely to be in.

It's not Cannon to trek either it was a possible alternate future, so in the grand scheme of things that ship was never created.

The beauty of infinate realities, you never know if it's unique to one. Nothing is likely to be.
The show is canon, what was shown on the show is canon, the Galaxy-X is canon.

Yeah, but the timeline for trek that is cannon now has gone beyond the point of there ever being a Galaxy X type.
It can never occur now due to the way the timeline has been set up with Riker aboard the Titan and Picard Still in command of the enterprise E, Not to mention Data was still alive.
It's like Saying that we should have the Mirror universe Neg'var because it's cannon. It may have been on the show once but it's completely irrelevant.
I like Not having the Galaxy X it was a horrible Kitbash.

Again, I point to the infinate realities bit. An episode showed that there is untold thousands of realities with a Galaxy Class Enterprise-D, the chances are just as likely that all ship classes will exist in god-knows how many others.
The Negh'Var Class we currently have in FO is the alternate reality one, a Negh'Var varient that non-canon has dubbed the Voodieh Class.

As far as I'm concerned, it is the best looking ship besides the original Galaxy and a LOT of the Federation fleet is made up of ships that would qualify as kitbashes

It's by far the most horrible kitbash, All ships that we have seen on screen from the federation have been fantastic.
The Miranda is probably the best Kitbash ever created
The galaxy X is as bad as the Ambassador in terms of design almost as bad as the Enterprise J.
As for infinite realities let's go with what's on the screen, Fact is the current timeline in the federation is well established and won't change therefore there will be No Galaxy X on the screen again, Therefore it won't be in Fleetops.
As for the Neg'var that one on the Mirror universe was rubbish lost to a defiant so I really doubt it is, It's probably a similar model but actually the Cannon Neg'Var but we can ask Optec to elaborate

Actually, it is the alternate one. It is very easy to see that it is, I already asked which one it was before. Besides, figuring out that the games Neg'Var is not the one from DS9 is hardly rocket science.
Are you trying to pass your opinion as fact? Because it's the teams choice, not yours. If they don't put it in, I'll find a way to get in in my version.

Trust me I've been here long enough to know that the Galaxy X won't be in

Since we're on the topic of warp in ships, what do you folks think of Warship Voyager]http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Warship_Voyager]Warship Voyager.
Although it never existed outside of the imagination of the Kyrians, it would be an interesting addition IMO.
