Ferengi Rule of Acquisition number godknowswhat: War is good for business. =P

As for cowardice, I direct your attention to the "Racism in Star Trek" topic

Anyway those are just examples, I'm sure there are better choices.

And could it also be possible for more than one ship to warp in at once? For example, a small randomly-generated group of one-to-five ships of various types. If you've ever played Sins of a Solar Empire, that bit where you can call in "The Dark Fleet", something like that. Powerful enough that it's worth doing, but not too much. Just for (my word of the month) "flavour".

As 'Birth of the Federation' states; War is not good for business!

Bah, my own topic, I should have seen that coming. How many 'brave' Ferengi have been on? The only time they are brave is when they know they have the advantage (ambush & hostage), or when they are insane (assassins, or as the Ferengi often call then; nutters).

Ah but the Ferengi only says "War is not good for business" when retreating. The cowa... Ah, I see your point.

Well maybe it wouldn't have to be a warship. There should be a chance that a Bynar engineering vessel or a group of Pakled freighters.... Risan party ship, anyone?

For a Ferengi ship, it could be that it generates supplies or dilithium when near a starbase, but automatically runs away when attacked...

This idea could use a little work, I admit, but you see what I'm getting at. =)

Well I'm not talking about the Ferengi as a new race. I'm talking about Ferengi ships being a warp-in feature of the FEDERATION...

There's a thought, will another race be classed as a Federation ship if Warped in or do they have the correct race logo in the display?

The logo shown is of the race defined in the odf (look at captured ships, they should have their original race logo), so a warped-in Ferengi ship would have the Ferengi logo.

I know the race is chosen in the odf, but buildit in a Yard and it has the logo of the race that owns the yard. I was wondering if the Warp-In does the same, the way the Warp-In works, I'm not sure how the ships owner bit works.

other races cant use warpin, starfleet just dont want to support the Borg with Galaxys :P

No, what we mean is what happens if the Federation can warp in ships from other races (npcs) like the Ferengi, would the warped-in ship still have the Ferengi logo or the Federation one?

Only one way to find out... *wanders off to play with files*

This is something a little off topic, I know, but to everyone here, here are the possible combos for a fleet of warp-in's: 4x3x2x1 = 24 possible different combos, normal warp-in, with TMP Excelsior added, 10 credits. Happy?

Actually wouldn't it be 4x4x4x4, as you can have more than 1 ship of a given type...

 Nope, I mean if you only got one of each, hypothetically speaking, of course. Then it would become a factoral. Basic high school math, Atlantis, otherwise everything gets extremely overcomplicated. But no matter how you look at it, it's a factoral.
