Pretty much anything is accepted in cannon.   But some things fit better than others.

not technically, but if you are referring to the ones before ST:XI then I'm not sure.  We'll just have to see what the next movie is like.

There are deleted scenes in the movie, however, which seem to hint that those comics were somewhat canon, but I refuse to believe that they would let B4 have the command of the Enterprise.  Even if he was now Data.

official trek site is NOT CANNON  Memory Alpha is NOT CANNON   ONLY TV SHOWS OR MOVIES ARE!!!!!!

Memory Alpha was never called 'canon', just the more reliable site because it uses canon for it's pages and only deals with canon and accepted stuff. It's remarkably strict for a wiki.

From what I know (don't quote me on this), the comic may not be canon. If that implication is true, the Nerada was just a non-Mixed Tech freighter with the default systems.

Although comic co-writer Mike Johnson considers Countdown to be canon, Orci stated he was in no position to declare whether it was, though he felt it could be considered canon unless it is contradicted in a later film or TV episode. He later implied that it was not canon. [4]

Coincidentally, I really like the Okinawa. I was initially dubious about the wonky nacelles but it looks super cool nonetheless. I prefer it more than the Sabre for which it replaces .

Or misspelled - depends on which side of the Atlantic you think has the right of it.  As I understand its rare in the US for the irregular verbs to be used, so if there is a choice the guys in the US will go for the -ed ending.  In the UK we mix irregular and regular with gay abandon (original meaning of the word gay intended here).

Now Phoenix is going to point out he is from the US and always uses the irregular form  :ermm:

Haha, yeah I had thought about bringing the -ed version into the mix but it seemed like unnecessary typing since Jet was using the irregular verb in the first instance .

I myself, am of the UK and tend to use the irregular verb but I'm well aware of our happy use of both .

I was wondering, what is on top of the okinawa, the little "bridge" that protrudes out, is that the bridge? or some sort of phaser or weapon?
