I used to have a bottle opener that would play that clip when used. 
It gets old after a couple of beers, but then, after some more beers, it gets funnier again.

It said in the first post it'll be in 'with the rest of the Federation redo'. So I assume it'll be in whatever version the Federation is redone in.

Sorry if this was already mentioned, but what do you think about the designation U.S.S. Kronos in honor to the help of the Klingon Empire in the development of the Starship?

kronos/qonos is the capital of the klingon empire, i doubt a mt ship will have it. A neggie would probably get that name, and starfleet would never unilaterally name a ship with another races' name. Also the okinawa will be a fed ship even tho it uses klingon tech. So it will probably get a fed name.

You wouldnt call a mt monsoon enterprise.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did name a ship USS Qo'NoS in honor of the Empire itself, especially considering this particular dersign will have a Klingon theme in the names.

Using an existing starship name is a little different than using a planets name.

i would be. the name belongs to another race.

its like a klingon ship called iks enterprise lol.

maybe if the ship had permanent klingon crew on it then the name would work. but that flies in the face of current mixed tech. as u can steal an enemy contstructor to get mt and they arent gonna give you crew for your ships

The name isn't copyrighted to the Klingons, anymore than the language is. Naming a ship after the homeworld of an ally is exactly the kind of thing Starfleet would do, while the Klingons also would not complain considering their part in designing it. A Klingon homage to Enterprise... they do think quite highly of them (especially the C, apparently)

It would also be kinda funning to see in a Federation Vs Klingon match...

well klinks and feds arent exactly allies. since you can get a mt ship by capturing an enemy klingon constructor. i dont think any of the races are allies in fleetops time. all are neutral. alliances only form when you select the same team. unless mt changes a lot.

Exactly, on the other hand Klingons wouldn't put the name of a Federation ship because they are a proud race...

and the idea was to put the name Kronos... because the FO developers already said that the names will not be in Klingon language, if i'm not mistaken

Ah ok, but I read somewhere that will neither be in Klingon language... but you must be right!

in Ancient Greek could be a great idea "Κρόνος"

Sorry for the late reply but I would suggest a re-name, as there is a TMP era vessel called the Okinawa class.
