So is this just a UI mod? Because if that is all that changed than it should be backwards compatible with my 3.07 maps right? Please be yes! I've worked so hard on those maps! Plus I'd like to have an automated map converter if it isn't. So it will just update the maps for the new version and anything that is not in there it will just take out. Please, I've worked so hard that I don't want to have to burden my self of manual conversion!  :crybaby:

I like the cleaner way, but it would be cool if the Federation Interface looks a little bit more like the Computers in TNG or Voyager. Keep Up the good Work! You Rock!

@ Gamer: as you've asked before, all the maps should be backwards compatible--unless you are adding in ships... sometimes those need to be fixed.

Will there be a 27th century look like mentioned before (Enterprise-J era) too many times I've seen the ol' LCARS, I need a new LCARS look! Something that is high end and spiffy ( :pinch: ow, I just used the wrong word!).

Any chance we could get a shield bar right above that green health bar in the UI... would be easier to see at a glance what ships could use a repair/shield recharge :)

Looks nice: any more screenies?

:woot: We could throw in my modded AIP files which will turn the races toward their true faces! I've tested each one I've posted so far! They all work like as if you are playing with AI that act as their Show counterparts! The Dominion Spam (not immediately but they do!), the Klingons are relentless (until their base is lost), and the Feds are very defensive (so much defense at their main base I could barely defeat them as the Borg  ).

Really guys, my AI could go good with the upcoming version, good UI and good AI = good game.  :D

Except that no human player in their right mind would only build defenses etc or play just like on the show...  :sweatdrop: . The AI is supposed to imitate human playstyle...not to be a whole other category.

Come on! I worked hard reprogramming the AI! Besides, I barely won on my test round when Borg! I had Dom as an ally, and I went against the Klingons and Feds! It was furious compared to the original AI!

That sounds awesome to me, although it'd help if you could record a video of your AI in action and post it here...  ^-^
