Hmm, I am a little confused though: how can we tell how much damage a system has taken, or how much life remains in the shields in the UI (not the ship in the field). Also, how many ships can be selected in a fleet now... So many questions...

I don't miss the conematic window, I'm not sure yet on what ti think about that sterile, but nice design, but the questions by dominus are clearly most necessary to be answered.

would it be possible to have a icon pic like the mini avatar pic for the veterans

Looking at the GUI with multiple ships, you can see the amount of space left still matches up to 16, so I'd say that hasn't changed.

As for how much shields you've got left, you can tell exactly the same way you always could. There is a bar under each wireframe (green in the screenshots as they're full). They are your shields and hull.

As for how much damage something has taken, you can leave the mouse hovered over the icon to do that.

It looks good.
I don't like the minimap complety, but I'm looking forward to the final.

The subsystem icons will also show a "clock-style" status display if they are damaged, so you can read the percentage quite easily. if you want to know the exact damage report, just hover the icon :)

Is there a sensor scale yet? Like 0% - 40% repaired has a range of 1/4, 50% - 80% at 1/2, and so on.  :whistling:

Systems are just disabled until they get back to 100%.

ooo cool i like it... but can all the buttons be moved down to the bottom row? Also the progress bar is a great improvement, as well as the new icons for the heath.

ehh..like the old look better, won't miss the cinematic screen though. New ship and weapon avatars look alright, never really had a problem with the old ones.  New interface will allow bigger groups of ships? If that's the case, about time, good work    .

"just add some more maps to update and it will be awsome"  , Agreed
