I have a suggestion...

I've noticed the S31 Avatar gives a Centaur class cruiser. I rather... recommend something that was actually developed by S31.

I think you should give the Dauntless Class slipstream cruiser.

Stats:

Offensive: 38
Defensive: 19
System: 18

- Type IX-R Phaser (Deals increased damage to Support vessels and decreased damage to civil vessels)
- Micro Quantum Torpedo (Deals decreased damage to ships with a defensive value higher than 30)
- Adaptive Cloak Detection system (Passive: Detects all cloaked ships within sensor range)
- Slipstream Torpedo shells (Passive: Allows the micro quantums to fire at an artillary range while maintaining its potential damage)
- Slipstream Drive (Allows the ship to travel instantly anywhere in the sector, delays sheild re-erection time for a full second)

I'm just interesting how you are making these things up. Whar makes a phaser decide where to deal more damage? Why do micro photon torpedos have a higher damage on small targets? IO'm very interested how you come to that conclusions.

But the Dauntless wasn't real...

It was real in the show, it may have not been designed by the fed ship yards, but it was designed from fed ideas and ships

That's true, but it is way to futuristic to be seen as a Federation vessel in the current FO timeline I think. Similar to the reason the Prometheus will never be incorporated into the lineup. :sweatdrop:

Section 31 would not  In my opinion would not build  Build new  Shiny uber ships,  too flashy and hard to hide . Rather they would hide in plain sight in a : Tired old  looking Oberth on the outside,However  inside it would have totally new Engines and Weapond systems.I feel they would Add a Connie style neck to connect the primary and secondary hulls and in the neck add  more weaponds, and sensor gear. Addind a neck connecting both hulls would correct a problem from the Original design. The flaw was one had to use the  warp nacelles pylons to acces the engineeiring hull. I feel that  they might also add a Phaser cannons on the underside of the  primary hull  to hide it from  a  glancing  scans  in a side veiw . The reason for the old ships is  that the older vessels are  decomisssioned for parts,          De-militarized  and sold to a Privateer  or sold off for scrap according to Regular Starfleet records. If the vessel was "sold for Scrap" there is Plausable denialability for the Section 31 opertives. The vessels should be like the Maquis vessels during the Cardassian war, old Starfleet vessels on the outside  but custom  weaponds loadouts and systems on the inside.

Actually dpminous, i think it doesnt look to futuristic, odd design maybye, but the feds could use a breakaway from the standard design.

I have to agree with Dominus here.

In the first instance, why should Section 31 build a completely new ship based on a design they might have found in Voyager's database? "That's cool! Let's build it!" - doesn't sound likely to me besides I doubt that's quite the way Starfleet decides which design should be chosen.
In Star Trek the Dauntless has absolutely nothing to do with Starfleet. Since FO is a Star Trek RTS, why should it approach this any different?

Second the Dauntless would probably be somehting you wouldn't forget or simply ignore, I guess some would even start investigating. Quite stupid for a secret club like S31 to build something like that because due to its design it would already have some kind of sign around its... nacelles?  :sweatdrop: shouting: "Hey, I'm a cool covert ops ship! Guess who built me!"

So I can't see something like the Dauntless for Starfleet in general and especially not for S31.
The Oberth and the Centaur are good choices :)

That's how I always pictured Section 31, or any intelligence organization that operates with any common sense. If Section 31 built all these fancy ships it would basically be putting a giant "Look at me I'm a suspicious new ship!!!" sign on them. No one would ever suspect an old Oberth hiding a high tech phase cloak. Things like the Dauntless, a Black ops Defiant, or even the Poseidon that I originally was going to have as a ship would just be to obvious of a target. It's not everyday you see a Defiant flying around with a black paint scheme so that makes it even more of a suspicious target. For this reason I decided to keep their Constitution class hero with a normal hull paint instead of black paint.

Hehe thank you, I don't think my total conversion will stand up as well as FO though  :sweatdrop:

Can't wait for this mod :D!It looks unbelievable :woot:!My favorite avatar so far is Section 31! B)
I have one suggestion:S31 has 1 or 2 ships less than the other avatars so i would recommend adding one more ship like the Galaxy,Nebula,Discovery,Strider,Neptune,Constellation,Federation,Aegean,Star League or any ship you'd like, but add one more please
Here is a video with more ships if you'd want to chose 1 or 2:

The USS Monitor, I think that's what it's called (The Black-Ops Defiant) is not part of S31; it is, in fact, a regular Starfleet vessel, but with a black hull (amongst other stealth tech)

Although it would be interesting for S31 to have one too... although it may be difficult to replicate the 'semi-cloak'.

I just -have- to necro-quote here.  This book, by the way, is the one where the Tal'Shiar, working in alliance with the Borg, clone Captain Kirk, and he proceeds to defeat the Borg Collective by literally flipping off their power switch.  And I mean that term, 'power switch'.  It was a toggle switch on a wall.

I disregard that book out of hand.

I like Section 31 ships, but they are slightly creepy. Are they really for the good of the Federation...they are defiantly not complying to the rules of Federation diplomacy. I like how their ships are the "dark side" type thing. I also have some questions about the others. Toral's fighters. Can they be targeted, and what kind of weaponry would they have. I thought that they would have some little weak phasers and disrupters just to balance it out. Sela has enormous forward firepower, but what would the specs be for the Shadow wing battleship? (I think its actually a Trade Federation battleship the Rommies have stolen from a galaxy far, far, away  ^-^) And, I really like the diversity avatar.  :D The Son'a are cool, but what would their ships be armed with? Isolytics still, or something else?

Yes. They show that not everyone in the Federation is as retarded as Bashir. The saying The needs of the many, outweigh the needs of the few counts for a persons principles.
