hmm, stronger...well, its phaser is very long range, it has a burst torpedo, it is a support cruiser, not a battle cruiser, so it really depends on your point of view.  It is fast, and has a great special weapon, but it isn't mad for heavy combat.  It will take only one warpin slot, then none at first rank.  So, it is a good ship, but it is better as an escort than anything.  If you are trying to build a mining station, it rulz if your construction ship is being harassed.

ok, Special weapon is working, all I need to finish is the rankups, and tooltips.  It shouldn't take to long, so the century should be done before the week is done.  (should)

yes, I meant the (forgot the ship class name of them) other two ships in that image look aesthetically odd to me. I do like the Prometheus/Intrepid influence, but something is just plain weird (to me) about the way the nacelles join with the hull.

yeah, the pylons are added.  I'll try to post a pic of the original.  It was way cooler and much more fed style.

How do you know they Achilles was influenced the the Prometheus or Intrepid? It's appearance may just be coincidence...

What was the original like, anyway? Straight pylons?

Coincidence is pretty hard to believe when it's Star Trek--especially when there are such ardent fans. I guess it is just coincidence that most Starfleet vessels have very similar saucer, engineering deck, nacelle layouts

hmm, I think I may be able to find a model like that.  When I am done with the century class, y'all can vote on it.  I like the origional better.  It is more streamline and such.

This isn't an 'Enterprise', most (if not all) Federation Classes like that are ones that had an Enterprise at some point (making them canon hero ships based on the first Enterprise).

This ship comes from a game, where 'influence' isn't as predictable as the show.

Well, I am doing future/experimental ships atm, but I will do more cannon ships later. I think Tyler is doing more cannon stuff right now tho, so maybe you could ask him.

how about the decius warbird from future imperfect and the huge qvak command ship from ds9 shattered mirror or the future negvhar from all good things?
