Actually, you can tell what damage a weapon does based on each ship. So you can put a list of ships, in the weapon odf, and make it effect each ship differently.
Oh, and has anyone found that hard point viewer? I can't find it on FF.

Some of those ships have already been converted for use in armada and you might ask over on the a2 files board for someone to convert them for you

The legacy models are not very good and its not that simple to convert them anyway.

ok, somehow I got my game working again, so I just need to fix a few small errors in the odfs and then it will be finished. Sorry it took so long, will upload later when all is finished.

The interceptor class and the couragious class were on my list, but I ended up doing the ones in the poll first. I may still do these, but I don't know when. I have a lot of things to do atm.
Achilles, EVO, soulwolf, vilant. Then I have my cosmetic mod which is still open for entries.

Update, I found that hp viewer, and I am amazed. It even allows you to change and add hardpoints. This thing rules.

Hey where did u find that hp viewer at?....I looked for 2 days trying to find it again....I still have mine but it never hurts to know where to get it again in case something happens.....

thats a dif one than i have....though its based on the one i have...ill have to check it out....i think i remember pointing out that one in an earlier post....but cool u found a tool that helps.

If you have a hardpoint viewer/editor is it possible to add engine glows??? I was under the impression that they were hardpoints that had a different name.

update for Achilles: Pulse Weapon sprite is working, and the wireframes, buildbuttons, and (unless changes are made) The ships defences are balanced to the game.

I cant get this version to work either...my problem is it wont navigate to the directory I need it to....so I cant even load anything in it.....btw with the old one I have it crashes upon loading meshes from FO and also crashes upon loading some meshes from a2 files...and by mesh I mean sod...I know FO uses a dif hirearchy for hardpoints so maybe this is the cause perhaps?
