7zip is the best and you should be able to split your file into multiple parts. Also what you need is the restrictfirearc class label. the direction it fires is based on the direction that the HP it placed. Also you guys might put in a request for the unlocked sod importer in order to view/edit the hardpoints. Also for the the Achilles it seems like it should be a warpin. It fits the heavy hitting warship category, while we have the decent to soak up damage, and i think the century should be like a really good support ship.

Alright, the achilles is going to be a destroyer. 6 pulse phasers, one q torp. I don't wan't it as a warpin, cus I like to keep it expensive, and have it take a while to build. It would be too cheap if I put it as a warpin. And I don't want it in experimental warpin, because it isn't experimental. It is a war ship. It is a small ship, being alittle bigger than an intrepid, and as fast as a monsoon. I suppose it is more of a heavy strike cruiser, because it can destroy large ships fast, but won't last long because it doesn't have very good defences.
The century is supposed to be a support ship, but I don't exactly know what that means. It will have one phalnax regular phaser and one phalnax torpedo. I am not sure what the characteristics of a support ship are, so you will have to enlighten me. Because the soverign is still in use, the century will be an experimental warpin ship.
What do y'all think?

Gagh! The Achilles is a Tactical Combat Cruiser! a Battleship at the most! But not a Destroyer! The Achilles class is just about as powerful as a Defiant... or a bit stronger!

A support ship has high system values, and generally weak offense and defense, but powerful "support powers". Unless you mean support, as in complementing other vessels. Then I'd recommend some sort of cruiser that has one special and mediocre attack power, and perhaps a passive ability.

it will be ferry powerful. I don't know exactally how, cus I don't know how powerful the pulse phasers are compared to the defiant's weapons. It will be fast, and have high offence, and low defense. I don't really know what you call that...
Oh! I got it. It is a gunship/gunboat!!!
@ dominus
ok, I can do that. It seems to fit its origional design. So what weapon should it have? It can have something already in the game.

*feeling evil today*
I kind of like the idea of a "quantum torpedo barrage": representing a high powered/high cost unit, I think it should be a sort of anti-battleship support vessel. Thus using the V-13's special with quantum torp effects might be cool. Maybe it can hit up to 3 enemy units?

well the barrage is for the achilles, and when it was used, it only ever attacked one ship at a time, but it will definitally be anti battleship. It will tear cubes, and tavaras apart!!!
I will check what the v-13's weapon is, cus it might save me alot of time.

Well then, perhaps as a passive ability, the Century increases repair rates within a small radius?
As an active, hmm, maybe "remodulate an allied ship's shields": it brings shield power back up to 100% and gives a small chance of rendering that vessel invulnerable to damage for a short while.

When can I expect a Soulwolf for FO? And where?

posted on July 8th, 2009, 10:13 pm
wow, you really wan't that ship.
When? Later...
I will be on a plain in a couple weeks, so if I don't do it by then, I will do it on the plain.
Aah, several hours with no interruption. It will be great.
I am working on the century class, then the achilles, then the EVO (I have started all these already) then the Soulwolf.
What do you mean by where? If you are referring to the problems Filefront is having, they said they should have it fixed by the end of this week.
Again I am having trouble getting permission for the century, so it may take longer than I expected, however...

A gunship/gunboat is what the Defiant is. Something short ranged or low speed (practically coastal) but who packs quite a punch. The Achilles sacrifices system value and shield/armor strength for speed and firepower. And leet, the Achilles should have substantially more firepower than a Defiant (1v1 harder to judge, but firepower it shouldnt be much of a comparison)
Looks like a nice model Zaxx, well done!
Edited: to remove brain spasm. Danke noctis

You may want to edit this HawkShark: it's a little confusing at the moment

ok, I will cross the Achilles bridge when we come to it. For now, I am doing the century, scene it did win the poll.
It will be a support vessel.
Armor, ~1/2way between the akiras, and the sovereigns.
Weapons, 1 X phalanx (regular) phaser, 1 X sovereign q-torp
Special weapon, Shield recharge (just like the romulan one, but a little better)
What do you guys think, balancing needed, Ideas for improvement?
