in the game that is what it was called. Not saying it is right, I just liked it better.
ok, I found an offical weapons loadout of the achilles class. hows this.
02 quantum torpedoes (wouldn't be to powerful)
08 pulse phasers
08 mini quantum torpedoes.
This would be implimented as three actual weapons. One would be a duel burst torpedo. one would be an 8 times pulse phaser, (or maybe 2, 4 pulses) and the other would be the special.
The streingth would have to be balanced, but what do you think?

I only saw 6 Pulses, then again it's been a while since I played the game. I'd go with 2 pulses using dual sprites.

i dont think it matters how many weapons a ship has its the offensive value that counts one thin i have been thinking though is a borg cube should have weapons on all four sides

yeah, I was looking at an offical(looking) site, so I will go with it, even if it is wrong. Two pulses, four shots each. I will post a pic of what I mean.

yea that load out seems pretty fair. But for the sake of FO balance, i suggest that you make it 3 pulse phasers of double sprite... with no Q-torps til rank3or 4 and at rank 5 grant it a 360 (or just aft) normal phaser... And the special weapon should be something researched because its pretty devastating.

Damn, sadly enough I like the middle ship's saucer the best (and the attention to detail) and I like the bottom right's engineering and nacelle layout the most (though I hate the lack of detail).

yeah, it is a pritty lame model. The top one isn't much like the real one, but it is a quality model.
The others have streatched textures, and flat sides, and they are allaround low quality, but they are more like the origional.

ok, update on the century. odfs are done(as far as I know), all I need now is tooltips, and final testing, before I compile and upload. Should be done later tonight.

Oh crap i forgot to add that link... Theres a convertor somewhere out there... It takes, SFC3 .MOD models into Armada .SOD.
Oh and as for the existing models: Middle one is awesome, but the pylons from the bottom right.

What we really need are legacy models converted to SODs but keeping all them polies and high res textures. THAT is what we really need!
