Hows this, or did you mean the dish?

Looking good. Try mapping the saucer to the top right section of this new texture.

That fits perfectly. The only problem I see is the Lasers, which overlap the texture slightly, though that's my fault. I put them too high. Still, it works perfectly.

Cool, well it is a good test. btw, it is backwards.
It would go the other way around so you can put the registry there.

Opps!
I feel so stupid now.
I've corrected it.
I'm making the MSD for this ship now. I'm thinking white for the outer hull and yellow for the Insides. System images should be easy to place on this.

Cool, cant wait to see how it turns out.
If you can, try out this new texture. The neutronium should look like veins in the hull and the saucer is more detailed(with no specific direction now.

Looks great. Couldn't figure out which was the front though.

Well, I have a problem. Using the bridge module as a guide, I have started making the MSD with each deck about 3 meters (Pixels) high. Unfortunately, at three meters per deck, I'm already at 9 decks, and I haven't even reached the middle yet. Any ideas as to decrease the number of decks while still keeping the bridge as the height base?

Well, for a crusier its too small for one and the design and look of the ship absolutely screams destroyer. I don't see how thats supposed to be a cruiser at all. Maybe thats the sensor dome and the bridge is actually underneath and not exposed? That or remodel the bridge.

Flattening the saucer a bit might help, it looks bloated as it is...

As the others have said, either decrease the height of the saucer, or maybe increase the height of the bridge.
You could also just increase the thickness of the lines, assuming there is some space between each deck.

Well it is, trust me. The ship is suppose to be about 300 to 350 meters in length.

Well, the saucer is meant to be tall. I just took the side view of the model and made it into a MSD.

Well, ive been thinking, and I dont think that the bridge should be in the center of the dish. (Most protected area, protection includes the shields covering the armor covering the hull covering everything else inside the ship.

As for the sensors, I was thinking of adding a deflector dish style area, but then it would look too much like a Star Trek ship. I'm thinking that the sensors should be set just under the hull, hidden underneath the armor.
You could also just increase the thickness of the lines, assuming there is some space between each deck.
I've been thinking about that too, with the space between being tall enough for a person to stand upright, but is meant to be a repair shafts, not living quarters. Decks will be labeled on the actual MSD.
My brother thinks that the 'bridge dome' should be the captains quarters. Though in either case, I admit that its literally painting a bullseye on the hull and saying, "Here's the captain, kill him now!"
