I've been thinking about the material Harus. In the beginning of this post, I said that it "slows the light from an ordinary laser beam, creating a powerful particle beam." Now I'm thinking that it should convert it; absorbing the light and emitting a beam of energy on the other side. Anyone think this sounds better then "slowing it down?"
Also, I've been wanting to post stories involving my universe. Is there a spot I can do it in on this site?

I've been working on the TCF. I have split the group into 4 factions, all united under the same flag. Still working out the details, but will post something soon.

Should I call it; The Destroyers? I've never posted stories before, so I have no clue what to do.

I've decided to split the TCF into 4 factions. Each based around a different style of fiction and reality. These four factions were formed at the creating of the TCF, due to differing opinions on how things should be. Each faction has strengths and weaknesses.
The faction types are;
Steam-punk - Uses clean energy. only uses Fusion cores. Uses Guns, Missiles, and Torpedoes.
Industrialists - Cant mine, but has quick ship production and low costs. Ships must be brought in periodicity with supplies. Uses Guns and Missiles.
Future Tech - The second most advanced faction. Invested most of their cash into tech. Costs are high, but weapons are powerful. They have a low cost version of the TCF replicator, but it uses a new resource, NPP, or Neutral Phased Particle. Will explain later. Uses Lasers and Missiles
Scientist - The only true researchers in the entire group. Has the most tech, but has very few ships. They have TCF Replicators, but these are more efficient then the Future Tech version. Uses Plasma Cannons, Missiles, and Torpedoes.
New idea I'm thinking about implementing for the TCF, maybe the Destroyers too.
Lets say you bring your construction ship in, it builds a framework of a station, then you have to hold your construction ship(s) near the frame for a period of time before the station is built. It would be perfect for the 4th or 5th Avatar I'm making for them, an AI only avatar, which takes all four factions and puts them into 1.
Now, the replicators the TCF use aren't very good. (I'm basing my info off the Scientist version. The Future Tech version is worse.) They require NPP (Neutral Phased Particle) to make something. NPP is a non-Newtonian fluid of neutral phased particles. At 50 degrees Celsius and below, it turns into a solid, and at 51 degrees, it rapidly turn back into a liquid. It's usually stored in tanks, but can be made into blocks for easy storage and use. It's available anywhere, but the mining station must be set up for it before the freighter gets there.
I need names for the Factions. I have Sci-Corp (Psy-corp) or Sci-Co (Psycho) for the Scientists, but I need names for the others. Any opinions here? How about Questions regarding the rest?

Well, a problem has appeared. It's actually been on the back burner for a while as I try and figure it out, but I cant seem to get it going.
Now, I have a reloading station. Its designed to give up to 50 ships enough ammo for a volley from the weapons that take ammo. It works perfectly, but when I tried to implement it to the shipyard, (as all ships should leave space dock with a full ammo load) it doesn't work. I don't know why.
I've tried everything I can think of, short of turning it from a cannonimp weapon to an areacannon weapon.
Anyone wanna help me with this?

Alright, I've been working, and I think its time for some voices. I can do some voices on my own, but it would help if I had others.
Right now, I could use voices for:
Destroyer AI - Preferably female, but not too picky
Destroyer Construction ship - No preferences
Destroyer Freighter - No preferences
TCF AI - Should sound artificial.
TCF Construction ship - No preferences, but should sound like a construction worker.
TCF Freighter - No preferences

I need some opinions. I've recorded these, and I think they sound good, but I need others to tell me they sound good. My mic isn't that good, and I cant get a new one until Wednesday, so please, don't be too harsh.

I now have access to 3DS Max. I have been remaking a few of my models, such as the Haze Mark-1.
However, I have a new problem, namely with the exporter.
I have some ships that only use one texture, which exports fine, but whenever I try and export a ship with more then 1 texture or material attached, the exporter gives me an error and, instead of a complete model, spits out an SOD that is only 1-5 kb in size.
Any advice?

Merge the textures into one big file, like a mosaic.

I tried that, but I cant seem to find an 'Align Texture' button like on Milkshape.
Mr. Vulcan made a great sugestion, and I'm working on it now, but im having even more problems with my current idea.
