Well, some people are really, really stupid.  Maybe having it twice will help them.  I say you keep it like that.

Prolly already on the list but:

I'd like a list (like the unit overview) of the stations and their cost, build time, etc.

(I wanted to see what the cost and timing of doing a two staryard build would be per race... and I had to go into the game! :P  poo poo)

Was actually wondering about that - that can be arranged easily enough. Originally I was just going to keep the same Tech Trees as before with all their info on it, but probably making a list with all the costs etc on it and leaving the tech trees more or less blank would be wise. Either way, Unit Overviews, Mixed Tech Overviews, Tech Trees, and I guess Structure Overviews will become part of a new "tab". Unit Analyses, and strategy will remain in the Strategy "tab" as that tab is really getting too crowded  :D.

EDIT: Oops missread

I don't think a two Staryard build ever works well (if you mean building a second yard at your expansion  :sweatdrop: ) though - tried it some patches ago with Mark... and ended every time with just two Starbases remaining, and all the mining, shipyards, and research on the outskirts being picked off  :whistling:

I've tried a two staryard build for Romies before: works decently well against Klingons, Federation Saber spam, and Dominion Bug spam, provided you stick with Shrikes and Rhienns for a long time, and then upgrade the Rhienns to Torp Rhienns to give you anti cruiser support.

Dominion and Federation can obviously do a two Staryard build... and Klingons... well, not really advisable I think unless it is a Battleyard and Field Yard  :sweatdrop:

Hehe, I think I was a little ahead of you on this one, but why don't you check out the unit profiles and tell me if I missed the point.

All unit profiles are now up to date (with the exception of one klingon thing I forgot) :)

Hmm well i dont think you know what i was referring too I have extracted all the little icons from new interface as well as some of the MiniImages. I was thinking of extracting the new special weapons buttons, the Borg modules, and the top down images that are show if you only have one vessel selected.

Also the avalon (and maybe the dominion fighter carrier too) still has the costs and abilities of  fighters listed.

Using Hotkeys - The Hitchhiker's Guide to Fleet Operations

on this page it says that using the cine command hide the chat input when you wish to restore the ui, recently i noticed that the input appears so typing cine is easy.

Thanks for that correction Myles :)

Also, all stats are being kept up to date, and added lots more info throughout the guide. Images are being changed to reflect the new UI, and the new database is nearing completion. Strategies for Klingon and Federation will be released by this weekend :)

The Romulan unit listing is in an unexpected/unintuitive order. Rhienn variations are not grouped together. Neither are  the Generix variations.  (which is what I would expect). Might consider rearranging that list.

Yup, that's actually a remnant of the current set of "problems" with the database. Every time I edit the damn thing (Zebh knows I'm joking) the list rearranges itself, and he has to put it back in order. Since we've "abandoned" the original online guide, spending time to fix it up to look really pretty is not a priority - but don't worry, the new guide has a very beautiful database, and a much nicer interface and will be here as soon as possible. If it is not possible to release the actual guide, I will put the new strategy I have written for some of the factions in the old guide for ready viewing :)

Hi Dominus, just a quick one - I noticed that on the online guide it states that the D’deridex now cruises along at 90... is this correct?  That's a fair jump from the 60 it used to plod along at in 3.0.7

Just querying cos I haven't had a chance to play much 3.1.1 yet to see for myself.  Hats off to the development team for this version.  Feel I should make another donation :D  Definitely from my next quarterly bonus!
