Oke doke folks! At long last what I'd been hoping for, the Guide is back in action with a new look, better organization... and the beginnings of new strategy sections termed "Unit Analysis" (sorry, most of the strategy changes will have to wait for the patch 3.1.2 rebalancer).

Incidentally, you can easily print out any pages of the guide now with just your normal "file print" options in your browser. It is also possible to disable images that way too .

Don't forget about small screen support, and the brand new (and gorgeous ) database 

So share and enjoy, and as always, feel free to criticize and yell about all the missing features

just checked the borg unit database, i like the lsiting of common module arrangement.

what are the grey numbers under the costs?

and for the last tac cube is it really free? a free tac cube would be great.

I agree, Myleswolfers!  A free Tac cube would be awesome!

The grey numbers underneath the costs is the build time for a vessel, in this instance the time it constructs while on the uplink.  And the site really looks great, guys!  3 Cheers for Zebh and Dom!

another problem, in the faq the links to pages explaining stuff no longer work. i get a 404.

oh and the new guide looks brilliant, but it lags on my computer.

Links should be fixed now - sorry about the lag, but I don't know why it should be occurring as Zebh tested the guide on an ancient 800mhz computer, and this version should actually lag less than the last one

i'm using firefox, and i have a good laptop. tested in IE (ewww) and chrome and it worked fine in both

in firefox the page scrolls slowly when i use arrow keys to scroll, i cant use my touchpad to scroll cos the driver is buggy.

The unit overview for the Feds and Klingons looks great and spot on

This is something people who play those 2 races should be wise to remember and use it ingame as much as possible.

Hopefully the other races will follow as well

there's still no icon for build time, the grey number.

also the borg assim with 2 torp one nanite factor has no build time listed. i would love it to build instantly.

i mentioned it cos u said there's icons for everything (kling and fed)

i wonder why the guide lags on firefox, does anyone else notice that? in the meantime i use ietab to work around the problem.

what addons you use? i use:

downloadhelper,
fast dial
FEBE
flagfox
ie tab
image zoom
noscript
tab mix plus
xmarks

maybe image zoom is causing trouble. i allowed all scripts on the page in noscript (if there was any)
