Boggz (Romulans)
Elim (Dominion)
Vs
Stardust (Dominion)
RedEyedRaven (Klingons)

Map:  Star Traffic (14k x 14k)
BE vs SR 1 of 3
BE vs SR 2 of 3
BE vs SR 3 of 3

This was a great match.  Unfortunately the constant use of a hyperspace artillery, scourge of the space ways, angered Stardust a bit too much and the match ended before it could be concluded.  Still a very entertaining game. ^-^

Note to those who play:  Boggz is a tit! :D

Well, sorry about that arty, but that was the only thing that stood between me and certain defeat. I got only one good shot, as I watched the replay Mal unfortunately missed it, the S-2's were standing still near the main, I sneaked and killed 6-7 of them. The other shots actually done more damage to myself  My B-5 start got completely screwed btw, I didn't even wanted to fight a small ship micro vs micro battle with Star he just does it so much better than me.

It was really Boggz who won the game, as I got completely owned. At least it showed that you can deal with klingons without spamming purely distruptor rhienns.   :D  (it's a bit too popular nowadays :sweatdrop: )

I gotta mention too, that Raven and Star were not on teamspeak, Boggz and me were. It can be a HUGE advantage somtimes. So ppl, get teamspeak! It takes about 3 minutes to setup, and even if you don't have a mic, at least you can hear your ally, it's a really nice thing trust me.

PS: Thanks for the commentary! Really informative and entertaining.

You're right on about Teamspeak, Elim.  It makes a HUGE difference in frantic and drawn-out battles like the one where I basically got double teamed.  Raven backed off RIGHT when Star's ships engaged mine which let me do much better than I really should have against him.

At least it showed that you can deal with klingons without spamming purely distruptor rhienns.  :Cheesy:  (it's a bit too popular nowadays  )

Yeah I think I could have been more "efficient" if I had stuck with just frigates and Disuptor Rhienns .... but frankly that sucks :D.  I had lots of fun using multiple vessels for different reasons ^-^.  Lots of fun to actually use Norexans against Long Range Attackers

The point why Star lost was that his ally stopped doing anything after his expansion was lost...when Boggz lost his fleet the first time Red tried to attack the turrets at his main...why? The Vorchas could have easily taken out all the miners in the same time...AND why the hell Red did you stop expanding at all? Star was doing so well...you absolutly had the power to take out at least some miners...

Remind me to point out all the terrible things you do next time you are in a replay... :whistling:

Fleet Operations is a game last time I checked. ;)

Lol, Drrrr .....

I agree with Mal.  Next time you're in a replay I'm going to pointlessly flaunt what I would have done better than you :D.

I just pointed out why they lost, at least imo...sure its a game...but I you want to win...you need to do more than this. The best games are those where both teams try to win no matter what. Those are the most challenging ones and the ones that have most tension.

actually elim your rebuild of t15 really helped a lot. as the s2 couldnt finish them easily. both of you played good and turned it around.

that could have gone either way.

I'd suggest being constructive instead Drrr - it's not very nice to hear about how you did badly if it's not asked for :) . I don't think anybody wants to wake up and read about their 'mistakes'. I think that's pretty.... durrrrrrrrr

Poor Sutee

Sutee really got the short end of the luck stick there a couple of times.  I do think it's worth pointing out the circumstances for each player though: :D

Clintsat - Just played 3 one vs. one's against Boggz before this game.

Elinor - Stayed up all night partying only to come home at 7am and play a tournament game.

Definitely got some really good breaks there...the cloak detect activity was so lucky...I was heading to kill that expansion towards the end of the game and lucked out...  If my fleet wasn't there...it would have been a different game.
