Lessons to learn from this replay:
Make sure Talon refits don't sit at your base for defense, especially when your fleet is split.
Leahvals are best kept with the rest of your fleet and the Talon Refit.
Expand.
Repair a Shrike that has lost half of its hull.

So very helpful, really. Thanks so very much, though more for the obvious errors or the condescending tone, I'm not sure.

Lol .

Don't worry, Primi.  You and I were talking during that match and you were totally aware of the mistakes made.

And @ Neb:  Primi's Shrike was the victim of some movement autonomy problems.  And also- Leahvals are the fastest combat unit the Rommies have and they make great raiders.  He was concerned about me attacking his main mining as I did before so he was trying to keep himself safe.

  Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda

Ha!

Here's a great example of how replaceweapon can really mess up your micro sometimes.  I made frequent use of the Leahval's Energy Reeling, so my units were constantly "refreshing" their orders  :crybaby:.  It did make micro very difficult once Mort was able to field a sufficient fleet to do some real damage.

I will say one thing though:  I TOTALLY missed the Rhienns biting it in the middle.  I was microing my Leahvals against his tri and lost 4 Rhienns and a Griffin  :pinch:.  Blech.  Really don't know how I missed that

Ulimately I prolly woulda been better off just spamming more Leahvals, but homey don't play like that :D.  I was working my way up to Torpedo Rhienns to deal with his Warpins and I guess I got a bit careless.  The Torps didn't make it into the game until I had lost all my pretties anyway :(.

GG's to Mort though.  He and I seem to share the habit of 'playing' more than steamrolling :D.

also mort's dodecas were double inter dodecas, they lacked the microtech. an interesting choice.

EDIT: lol at the rematch, at the end you could barely hear yandonman.

i cant believe that turnaround. an amazing comeback. those avalons may be slow, but they kinda make up for it in power.

Pretty sure they were all Int/Regen.  That's what he mentioned after the game.  Maybe he acidentally hit double int but .... I don't think so
