i kinda think they should re run that match, sutee was practically asleep from what i saw on the replay. i mean he was so out of it he didnt realise he had refitted his talon instead of cloaking it. he didnt miss the absence of the cloaking sound effect lol. kinda skews the result.

Sutee upgraded the scout on purpose to catch my scout.  He did it in our first game successfully.

then why did he run it into the middle of your base?

the only reason i can think for running it into your base is that he thought it was cloaked at the time. thats what yandon and boggz said on the replay iirc

Either he thought it was cloaked or he was tired enough to simply forget about it.

Yeah, I think he forgot about the fact it was cloaked or just got it too close to the SB.  It's hard to see on the replay, but he was moving his scout around his base in the beginning of the game.  It's a great strategy in a 1v1 against a cloaker.  You know they are going to scout your base and rarely pay attention to see if they build a pinging scout in the first couple of minutes of the game.

But yeah......one little mistake turned out to be very costly.

really good game. quite close. elinor's micro to cloak retreat was nearly perfect.

Very nice.
The beaming in the beginning for who gets to keep the talon
Amazing cloak escape micro from Elinor, but I also really liked how Clint harrassed until the end but got taken to the cleaners by the refits in the end.

Very True.  Those Frigates pose such a problem for Klingons.

In order to kill a single frigate you need to have a certain number of ships available.  Once the battle progresses you basically HAVE to retreat once you fall below that number or you're just gonna take damage for no reason.

I should go find out what that number is :D.

I estimate 7.243, based on the geometry of the subspace warp field inversion. Of course, if you factor in the Frigate's recalibration of the primary deflector subsytems, that number rises to approximately 9.665

And now I'm going to actually watch the game

Yeah I would have gone for straight kvorts instead of Kebejqs and sangs. After seeing that I have renewed my hate for Gens hehe xD
