I really need to work on that B5 rush tactic of yours Elim. That definitely is a good anti Romulan trick and even better for dominion vs dominion matches. 

I found it as the best bet aginst warpin rushing feds too. (olny 4-5 test btw, so its not really sure)

PS: Just be breen or intrepids will murder yaa.

B-8's are not OP vs. cloakers ... wow ... just .... wow.  God forbid the Dominion have SOMETHING capable of decently fighting most Romulan 1st Tier ships.

Oh, and Frigates anyone?  Please.  Leave that nasty OP word out of this.

lol u can beam to scouts with sabres/bugs.

i think the b8 is not op. especially since its capped at 6 anyway lol.

They seem not OP since most ppl dont use the beaming the right way...if someone uses it the romulans will lose many ships because of this. 6 B8s can capture 1 tier ships in 5 seconds afaik. allowing you to use them on your own. Combined with a proxy yard this is extremly powerful and really hard to counter for Rom 1 tier. You might have a chance as Helev with Griffins or with Spectres in general. Its the beaming combined with proxy yard that makes them OP.

You can keep your believes for yourself...I made a valid point about that beaming. Repeating that things are not OP doesnt make them less OP at all...but I can choose a different word for OP if its what you are complaining about 

I love when ppl complain about dominion being underpowered aginst romulans, don't take it offensive, but you just simply don't know how to play them.

I give this back to you...maybe you play vs ppl that don't know how to counter the other Dominion ships...If you play vs DRhienn spammers only...well thats not my problem. And another point...you cannot count on a central moon for a proxy yard in all maps. So your proxy yard is indeed powerful if you can hold an important position like the central moon in DuelII but on a different map you might have moons in weaker positions...ever thougt about this?

  You know, the nice thing about fighting Dominion is that they will have to BUILD A PROTOTYPE before they can even HOPE to field a ship in any appreciable numbers.  Of course you'd have to see them doing it ...

  Wait ... but Romulans have the best cloaking scouts in the game ...

So (in theory) you should be able to know whether your opponent plans on making B-8's or not.  If they do manage to get out 6 B-8's (capped btw), you should have been able to switch to Frigates quite easily or even spectres.

I wouldn't be so sure that Frigates work so well...they have 110 crew and are slow...so they can be captured as well (which is even worse than capturing a Rhienn). 30% less damage is nice indeed but you need to field the numbers to counter B8s too...I am not sure how long it takes to get 6-8 Frigates including research but I guess its less than getting 6 B8 out of 2 yards.

frigates can be available in numbers pretty quick. spectres even quicker too. specs can come out in numbers cos they are dirt cheap.

plus if microd well you wont kill a single spec, and you cant beam to them either as they have combat cloak.

griffins can come out pretty early too. only needs research institute.

b8 are not op.
