Optec, are you guys still bumping your heads against the arbitrary six-race limit that the engine has (If I'm rememberimg correctly; it's been what, four years since it came up last?), or have you found a workaround?

the race limit still exists in the multiplayer game setup screen. i haven't invested too much time trying to solve that issue as there is currently a lot more important stuff to do.

soon? no ;) the focus is still on multiplayer. we'd like to do a campaign at some point, but that has low priority.

On a related question, what things are high and low priority in general, and for 3.13 in particular? Dodeca rebalances, rework or warp-in, etc? Inquiring minds want to know :whistling:

Balance is always very important - but you will most likely just have to wait until 3.1.3 to see what was most important :)  . Lots of things are worked on at one time, and what makes it in on a particular patch is a different story  ^-^

I have a question, which of the three "Upcoming" races is closest to finish? Maybe we could have one of them pushed into distribution by 3.3.0. :)

Am I to naggy? I seem to be nagging a lot. :pinch:

I don't think any of them are coming until 4.0, however I believe the noxter have the most work finished.  Atleast they have had the most updates.  I am not sure they have even started to put them ingame. :sweatdrop:

At least they have the gameplay aspect down tbh that can be the most challenging part.

Optec does update us a lot in other threads, here's a synopsis of what I've heard:
3.1.4:
-Artillery warpin will be seperate from regular.
-There will be a supply charge for warpins dying.
-Generix Spectre will have a weakness of some kind.
-Shield Recharge will disappear from Support Generix.
-Puretech B8 will be fixed.
-Serkas Silent Resolve will be fixed.

Unknown patch:
-Borg redo currently being worked on.

Missed quite a few things there too  :D Of course, if anybody is ever interested in what Optec has said directly, that person can go directly through the post list  :sweatdrop:
