Maybe something like what I believe Tyler suggested at some point, the Troopship Ability. The Galaxy soitenly has enough space on her to carry assault troops

It wasn't racist. There are tons of videos from that scene in Der Untergang, and they're pretty funny. And it's possible to have a second version of FO where you can make the galaxy buildable. Tyler's a huge fan of making the galaxy buildable as well, surely he's added a ship mod that achieves this. If not, ISS Enterprise has one with crazy high stats if you want to play with an uber galaxy class. Everybody wins.

Just for the record Constellation, I don't dislike you. Maybe I go too far sometimes.
I just get a bit infuriated when people hassle the devs on and off for years about the same thing when they could just mod it in themselves. Especially when they don't play multiplayer and also claim hundreds of hours worth of work on something to help new players is dismissed as something anyone can pick up. Then they think that their ideas of balance are more vaild than the authors'.

I feel that the Galaxy should stay as a Warp in . However I feel that one should be able to possablly get a Refit Module to upgrade At SCF to upgrade the Galaxy to Refited Assault Galaxy Refit. Cost say 3500Di and 2200 Tri Adds 500 Marines, 10 - 6 man Transporters, and a Ion Cannon to the lower hull and a Galaxy -X type cannon on the saucer.(no third Nacelle) The Specials could be Sensor blackout with a duration 6-10 seconds longer than a standard Sbo function along with a Organise defense patterns along with Precise volly functions. as with the added mass there should be a slight decrease in speed to off set the fire power gained. The upgrade module can be installed only once on on the SFC . The loss of the "first" Galaxy wipes out out the ability to upgrade any other Galaxy imported by warp in . Doing so would make losing a Galaxy very painfull . As one would have to Build a New SFC command to get the Assault module for any "New" Galaxy brought in the game. as well decomission the first one with the loss of Dia /Tri. resources from that course of action

On a side note, I mentioned 'unsightly kitbash look' but never actually mentioned the Galaxy-X itself. I happen to like that one...

Funny you should mention that, I did make a second version of the Galaxy buildable (starting from the 'fed_galaxyA' that comes with FO). Chassis2, more expensive than any other Starfleet ship, cap of 6 (also applied to the veterans), different name list to the Warp-In version and Mayson only.
There is atleast 1 image in the screenshot thread of a Galaxy being built.
