I don't have to say it, but I'm sure it's known that I definitely agree with both those comments

There really is no point in not being able to build the Miranda, Excelsior, and Galaxy at a yard beyond what's already been discussed in the past. The other FO races can build all of their ships and thus the Federation should too. Spamming Galaxies wouldn't be an issue if they are given an appropriate build cost.

A good 'Galaxy-II' would be the 25th century Galaxy (USS Pegasus) from Bridge Commanders 'DJ Galaxy Pack'. Similar without any unsightly kitbash look.
OH MY GOD NO! You think the Galaxy X is unsightly yet you recommend that desecration to the Galaxy?

There is really no point in being ABLE to build the Miranda, Excelsior and Galaxy at a yard, not least of all because the Miranda isn't even ingame! Aside from that, in the FO universe, Excelsiors, Ambassadors, Galaxies and Nebulas aren't in production anymore. The Devs are open to opinions, but it is THEIR storyline, and not subject to change by anyone except them.

OOoh I know, let's bring back the original warp 5 Enterprise. It's been a LOOOOOOooong time... but she's still a good ship! You know what, let's just make it Fleet Operations: FFC (Starfleet fleet collecting). We can include all 40-80 or so Starfleet and Federation designs, and we can push all the non canon crap right out the window. Lets see... that would be about 40 Federation types... and 2 Romulan ships... oh, and 4 Klingon ships... and 3 Dominion vessels... oh, that would be soooooo awesome :woot:

Yeah yeah, we've heard it all before. They may change their mind if enough people want it.

Doubtful.

Exactly! There are no other points because we've given all the relevant reasons as to why it's not built.

Indeed. Since we can't have non-buildable ships anymore, we can just get rid of warp in. It's not like a feature that gives me free ships with the reward of near infinite ships through good gameplay is really all that. I mean, we should make the federation like all the other races.

I bet you're a Voyager fan too.
Ouch, that's a low blow. That may be the worst insult to a trekkie, only surpassed by saying something like, "And I bet you liked Enterprise!"

Try something like 10 threads minimum over the past 7 years lol  . Even that might be cutting it a little on the short side

Not yet. But after a long conversation with Optec today, he's decided that for the next patch it'll be the level 1 destroyer for a pirate faction. You'll have to buy weapons for it, and on top of that it'll have base stats of 13 (to represent Worf's abilities to fire phasers and do nothing)/20 (to represent its fantastic shielding capability)/44 (to represent Geordi's experience). It also comes with Saucer seperation, but if you fail to click the "deactivate Deanna Troi/Riker" ability (lets you damage enemy shields and or kill crew easier) the stardrive section automatically explodes, crippling the saucer section - even with it's 1571238473 quantum torpedo turret missile launchers (with MIRV attachments of course, just like on the show).

O i know in addition to being able to build every ship that was ever designed for star trek (incuding the JJ Abrams ships) lets also throw in every ship that nocannon. Also lets throw balance out the window as well because anyone that ever watched star trek knows that starfleet always comes out on top. There has been some really good arguements presened on the past few pages listen to it. Further discusion about making ships warpin ships buildable and making the galaxy a total-game-ender-warbird-chewing-cube-spitting-monster will only serve to annoy people and further ensure that you wont get what you want. Also stop double posting.

Every time I see you post Constellation I want to put your lines on a "If Hitler was [USS Constellation]" video.

Here's a suggestion for a special on a Galaxy to make them precious indeed.
Tachyon Detection Grid
The Galaxy Class, being a front-line deep space explorer was equipped with some of the Federation's absolute best sensor technology. The adjustments made by Geordi LaForge, Tasha Yar, Worf, and Data would all have been logged as well, and likely distributed throughout the class. Thus, the Galaxy Class is eligible for the ability to penetrate cloaking devices.
If that was done, the Galaxy would simultaneously be highly desired to keep in your main assault force, as well as a prime target, and a ship you went to great lengths to keep alive.
