Carnys, circus folk, smell like cabbage, small hands. Coudlent resist.

But I dont see the point in the garbage thing, since last time I checked the cardassians where going to be an NPC race.

That does seem to be a good point. I'm referring to the garbage thing. I recall that Cardassians can use tritanium to build ships and stations. Perhaps, however, that the garbage idea may not be completely odd. I recall that I'd hear about waste extraction on the station DS9. It IS of Cardassian design, and we don't hear about waste extraction regarding Federation ships or stations. I must ask where did ewm90 get the idea of garbage recycling? I'm asking a serious question because even though it is unheard of. It, nonetheless, seems to be a somewhat ingenius idea that might, in my opinion, make the Cardassians be a more competitive race on FO since they are limited in resources.

I should also propose another idea - another avatar. That avatar should be Garak. I'm being serious. Unless the references that I checked are inaccurate, Garak becomes leader of Cardassia after the Dominion War. I believe having him as an avatar would be a good idea for the Cardassian race.

well waste stations was just an idea just to give tham a new task.

i meen it cood be eny thing maby a plamsam refinary that whood refine the plasma thay use to run thare warp engons. i just thot wast mite be a good idea.

Garak as a hero unit would be cool, expecialy if the unit had several special ops/spy abilities.

I agree. I think that for an ability via the Garak avatar, an intelligence research center would be a good idea. I also believe that another idea for the Garak avatar would include a spy ability similar to that of the Tal Shiar spy ability from A2 that should be used on a small Cardassian ship with cloak capability. That also brings up another proposition for the Cardassian race. The Hideki class should not be used as a small scout ship like the Venture, but it should be used as an equivalent to ships like the B'rel, the Interceptor, and the Saber. I should also propose that the shuttle class used by Damar, Kira, Rusot, Odo, and Garak to leave the Runabout and head to the Cardassian shipyard should be used as the Cardassian scout ship if/when the Cardassians are a playable race in FO. And ewm90, I just want to point out that I really like your waste idea. When I think about it, it's like the Noxter. They both have unique attributes, and when I think about it, the Cardassians (since they're not as advanced as the other races) would be able to specialize in waste recycling.

I believe he said that they won't mine tritanium because there's a bug in the game in that whomever is playing the Cardassian race is unable to trade tritanium, so the Cardassians will not be able to mine tritanium. Ewm90 also said that it would therefore give the Cardassians another task to do, and that's where the garbage idea comes in. When you think about it, in A1, dilithium, crew, and officers where the only things needed for station and ship construction. Perhaps that could have some meaning for FO.

Can i just mention that Terok Nor was NOT a Starbase. It was a Mining Station. It was the Feds who upgraded it to an outpost status.

I do like the garbage idea Would be great for a race like the Malons, if a Delta Quadrant Mod is ever made.

Thats what I thought, the cardys would be an okay race to add but, it woudlent be my first choice I would rather see the ciadan and the Iconians.
