As you may know CDPelectro is composing the soundtracks for the Ciadan, Dominion and Iconians for the future releases of Fleet Operations. He has finished a sample of his Ciadan track 'Rise of the Ciadan'.

I have calculated stuff for an update from beta 1.1 to beta 2.0 and it just looking bad. Beta 2 has gotton many new updates to textures sound and we changed even more files of armada 2. also as promised the new setup file (1.1: 98mb 2.0: 94mb) was smaller due to the new compression methods. the 2.0 archive file size of the blank fleetops files is twice as big as the files of 1.1 were, which is also the reason why the setup of fleetops beta 2.0 takes twice as long to install.

Thanks to andi we finally got the long awaited mirror! Thx andi!

We haven't even have a mirror for Beta 2 and already there is a hotfix which solves the performance slow down issues caused by missing textures of the Federation Descent Class.

Beta 2 Status:

For all users on the forum, take a look through the avatar gallery (you know, in your user control panel) i now added thumbs from all available Fleet Operations Beta 2 vessels (as we did for 1.1)

As promised, here is the Fleet Operations Beta 2 changelog of the current dev version (some things may change until next week ).
