I've noticed a couple of instances where fleets of ships seem to be a bit lazy in actually moving. Occasionally I have to click 2-3 times behind my intended target, while they mosey on about their business obvious to the fact that a lone ship is Om Nom Nomming them one by one, while I'm frantically trying to get my fleet to move towards it.

Having said that, when they do finally move, the explosive aftermath is most impressive. I tip my hat to explosions like that :).

As to that Venture, maybe you could try force firing your own ships. Surely it'd be like repairing them by the same amount as Offense 3, or rather; Repair 3. Perhaps it could be a special, combined with the Repair Ship :D. Get the Venture to shoot the Deflector Dish ( because everything has to have something to do with the Deflector Dish) of the repair ship and then it explodes, sending out waves of pro-Federation waves, which repair every Federation ship within a certain radius :). jk; surely that'd be grossly unbalanced.

Could it be implemented that the venture does not stop, but cannot change current movement? Would be more interesting then, as your scout will behave like a probe for a moment. With some skill you could effectivly cover a larger area, with bad luck crash into a group of hostiles. Further, nature gives exactly no reason to stop the vehicle.

it says movement speed will be reduced to a minimum. that implies that it will still have a movement speed. that it will actually move, just at the slowest speed possible, which is still some speed.

i like the idea of the venture having to stop, i just think the tooltip should be rewritten to say that the venture will have its engines turned off/disabled to run the scans.

why would the descent not obey the veteran cap? i understand allowing mckinley yard built ships to avoid the warpin cap, but why the veteran cap, that works fine as it is. the ability to build multiple descents is op enough, imagine the horror if they all become vets :(

another issue:

risner and mayson now have separate turret weapons which is brilliant

but it seems that risners turret with standard photons is more powerful than maysons which has quantums. i did the math, the risner photon torp turret does 4 dps more than the mayson one, going by the tooltips for the launchers and assuming 100% hitrate. yet confusingly the offense rating for the turrets is the same.

one thing i find odd about her turret is that it fires in single shots, and each shot does more damage than a quantum torp.

also every shot seems to hit, it never misses, even against small ships.

Ah, that is indeed odd that Mayson's torp turret is weaker.

Turrets never miss against ships, nothing new there though :)

you are right about that, i mistook a turret missing a drifiting ship as missing.

next problem, im hoping its only my machine  :sweatdrop:

the romulan stationary cloak for the defence battery appears to be resource hungry. massive battles between huge numbers of ships doesnt slow me down, but any more than 6 turrets will cause massive slow downs. if you decloak the turrets it perks up.

one avatar gives +4 off the other +3 off (they also have other bonuses) yet both start at the same off value of 73.

EDIT: another bug:

the veteran bortas gets field replicators which make the attack probe stronger. this is what the tooltip says. but double gold bar bortas can drop the stronger attack probe even though they dont have the replicators yet. the turret is just as strong, and it says that its carrier had the replicators. but the bortas tooltip dont display the replicators until veteran. was the replicators supposed to be for veteran or just gold bar ships?

also when promoting a bortas to veteran it loses its current order. so it will stop moving and sit still. dont know if this applies to all ships.

also remember the bug where if you activated the ambassador's special all ships would stop shooting it because a replaceweapon was used? well that still happens.

also unity one was given two specials to use, neither of them actually work.

Tavara off/def and BortaS Field Replicator one sounds like a bug.

All replaceweapons have that effect (like that mentioned on the Ambassador or promoting to Veteran). That will be remedied in a few patches :)

The explosions appearing far away only seems to happen when you have a ton of lag the first time you shoot it seems to me...  :sweatdrop:

Has anyone noticed that the borg are extremely difficult to win against in this patch? :borg:

I use to be able to win against them 1v1 them being on merciless, and I just got pwnd on Hard. :crybaby:  They built around 20 Dodc's 3 cubes, like 10 spheres, it was pretty crazy.  I have never seen them build that many ships. :whistling:

I attached the adm's log.  i really got creamed, and they seriously had too many ships for hard.  maybe good for merciless, but not the second level(hard).  Maybe more true to the name, but still...

Has anyone noticed some of the old tooltips are still around?  The Borg Sensor Relay still says it detects cloaked vessels.

Indeed Borg :)

A few more bugs as well: the tooltip for the generix refit upgrade button for support lists the wrong values.

For the Eresis, does radiation array do split, or (the tooltip says the damage is split between ALL targets)?

The Serkas decloaks when using Silent Resolve on buildings.

The C-11 Romulan Mixed Tech cap unit is not capped like the Support Refit

Nova doesn’t say that consumes slots on Veteran rank (though it does consume 4).

and if i go for my game to the menu i got than black screen but i hear the sound of the buttons
