Exodus wrote:USS Warr, Akira Class carrier refit. I can't even remember where I got this idea from, but basically a whole deck (eleven I think) has been entirely replaced by a fly-through hanger bay.

According to the guy that created the Akira, that is apparently standard on every ship of the Class.

Monsoon Class
USS Monsoon NX-76321
Risner-refits

Main mission: Scouting, Escort, Fleet Command, etc. Pretty much anything that you can pressure it into...

The Monsoon Class is my favorite of all vessels in FO, hands down.

Class: Excelsior-II
Name: USS Valkyrie
Registry: NCC-73509

My chief engineer started his life as a shuttle craft racer and he though the ship was a little slow so he has made a few enhancements to the engines..... well more than a few. Lets just say that it can run down a Bird of Pray.

I'd go for the intrepid (too bad the promy aint there).

Name: USS Dauntless (voyager would be good, but that's so cliché)
Registry: xxxxxxxxxx

Purpose: Multirole ship, primarily exploration.
I'd love a load of tri-cobalt devices though (or multiphasic torpedos: Bye bye borg n00bs)

I'm gonna have to go for:

Class: Prometheus
Name: USS Kennedy - Because I'm nice and self-centred :whistling:
Registry: Whatever really?

Role; to do as the Prometheus is - a warship.

In relation to this actually is FO seems to lack a dreadnought class for the Federation. All the other races have their big beat sticks, just wondering why the Federation lacks one.

Remember that the Federation never did rely on dreadnoughts of any sort - the only one that was even "shown" was dismissed by Roddenberry for being anti-Federation. ^-^

Guess I've been playing Tactical Assault too much then. :sweatdrop:

A refit of the original Sovereign class starship USS Sovereign, the Kelvin is a combat-ready testbed of some of the Federation's newest technologies. Utilizing data gathered from the Sovereign and Defiant projects, the warp core, ablative armor, and phaser systems received a total overhaul, resulting in greater output and longer lasting protection. The Aventine testbed for the Slipstream Drive and Heavy Phaser Cannon proved so successful that the improve variants were mounted to the Kelvin for immediate combat testing. While only slightly larger than the Sovereign class, this ship is no battlecruiser - she is a pocket dreadnaught, armed and armored to the teeth. To tangle with this ship alone is foolhardy - to engage it with a fleet is tantamount to suicide.

'Over the shoulder' shot? Nice ship, though the registry seems oddly small...

When you fire the torp in front of you, and it arcs up or down over/under you to hit a pursuing enemy :) It's B-E-A-UTIFUL and used by modern SSN's today :)
