All I know 100% is that the Breen Homeworld is tropical and they never take off their suits in public.

How can you say that its tropical? Its never been stated as a fact. Yes Weyoun said something of that nature but that doesnt necessarily make it true. Untill it is actually shown we cant say for a fact that it is tropical.

1: They had a founder posing as a Breen somewhere.

2: Dominion Intelligence has never been wrong yet - to my knowledge.

We dont know for a fact there WAS a founder posing as a Breen, just speculation. And what intel says its tropical? All that was stated was an offhand remark by Weyoun that, to me anyway, doesnt make it necessarily true. Fact is on many occasions its been implied by various people that the Breen homeworld is a frozen wasteland, or at least very cold. For all we know Weyoun just said that to try to not offend the Breen standing by him, maybe he didnt want them to hear him call their home planet a craphole frozen planet. Either way I wouldnt go as far as saying at all that their planet is 100% tropical without any real evidence to support the fact.

We do, however, know that the Breen are immune to empathic detection.  TNG mentioned that, in the episode where Troi got fake brain damage.

Take a look at the scene in question again. The Breen aren't around and its a private aside to Damar. He makes it clear that the cold theory isn't true and that he is sure its tropical due to Dominion Intell.

Its been along time since ive see that particular episode, yet if Weyoun is saying their intel got that info so what, that still doesnt make it true. Hell if the EVERYONE in the alpha quadrent was led to believe the Breen homeworld was frozen then that doesnt mean the dominion werent fooled either. Either way i dont really count that as hard fact.

Very true, they have been genetically enhanced by the founders after all, maybe extereme cold doesnt bother them much.

I'm personally inclined to believe Weyoun, he had nothing to gain or lose from revealing the information.  And additionally this has to be surprising information to the Cardassians, who have had several dealings with the Breen and even have been mentioned on screen that they have an embassy on their homeworld.  Though I may be biased to Weyoun's story, given that he is played by Jeffery Combs.

This comes from a highly edited fan creation of shorts, from what I can tell.  But was the only one I could find after more than an hour of painstakingly searching for the scene.  It does have a small vid edit in the middle of it, showing a "tropical world" that doesn't belong.  So don't believe you're seeing the actually Breen homeworld there.

• Weyoun is a Vorta, they don't need a reason to lie. It's in their nature, they're far worse than Romulans.
• I don't think that scene is from Star Trek, if not it's not valid. If you know about that Dominion War series, you should knowe that roughly half of it is scenes not from Trek.
• When Dukat was talking to Damar about what he'd do when he gets his place back, he was talking about sending a Cardassians he didn'tlike to work in the Embassy on Breen because Cardassians don't like the cold.

Yeah so that scene to me doesnt mean anything. An off hand remark by Weyoun doesnt override all the previous implications. Also the fact that Damar and Weyoun also wonder why they wear refridgeration suits. If theyre intel was so good they should know if those suits were in fact refridgeration suits. So again that scene if FAR from a fact about the Breen homeworld.

I wonder if the Breen have hidden the location of their homeworld and perhaps the "intel" Weyoun recieved was actually from a different planet the Breen took over and were calling their homeworld just to mislead people.

Another Idea... the breen are SOOO ugly that they don't even want to see themselves so they wear those suits and think Freezing Cold somehow makes beautiful...
