i guess the real question is, what is Federation Standard?  American English or British English.

Picard, (a french man with a british accent)  says (iss - schew)  instead of issue,

it is a turbo LIFT  not a turbo elevator

that would SEEM to imply that British English is Fed Standard

we need to see how they spell color, if they spell it Color  or Colour

if it is Color (american) then it is SabER
if its Colour (english)  then it is sabRE

To me it's a personal preference and those wikipedia sites really can't be used as proof that's it's spelt one way or another. They can be edited by anyone who creates a free acount.

I personally use Sabre, but in the end I feel it's all personal preference and neither way is more correct than the other.

Ok, I've got it.  This is the correct spelling for saber/sabre:

W-O-R-T-H-L-E-S-S

The spelling may change next patch.  B)

The funniest thing is that in the german dub of Dominion Wars it was spoken as Sab-Re in the most german way ever possible...

It was horrifying to hear always "Sabre ausgewählt"
