Because it is not the answer!!!!

Your answer would only keep the law abiding citizens from having guns.

The people that should not have guns now would still get a hold of them.

Your solution may prevent the accidental deaths form firearms, but not the premeditated ones. Those are the ones that are more important. Not to say that saving a few lives isnt worth it, but the hassle of making guns illegal or extremely hard to get would not justify the small amount of lives that it might save. There is no guarantee.

it would keep law biding sitisons and crimansl from geting guns. most guns that that are used in crime where paiyed for legal wen thay where ferst perchisted.

thare is no large scale undergrownd guns smugling mofea in the usa. most crimanls dont like to thing of tham self as crimanls. merder is a crime of hate you have to hate ther person you kill makeing meny if not most crime of pashon insanity or by mistake.

What happens if you ban guns from America?

1) Much rejoicing in the streets. People think they're safe.

2) Criminals buy guns from overseas. They've already comitted a crime by having them, so they might as well use them.

3) The public's thoughts on safety are shattered by a string of murders- using GUNS.

4) The goverment tries desperately to get the governments in the countries were the criminals are getting their guns to ban guns also- and fails, because many of those are Islamic fundamentalist countries, and are happy with recent events. Some have started porposefully smuggling guns into the US just to create more chaos.

So what do we have? A bunch of loonies with guns -possibly more than we had when they were legal-, a hamstringed government, a paniced populace, and are enemies laughing at us.

THAT is why we shouldn't ban guns.

(btw, my this is my 1000th post!) 

1) not trow thare less leth ways to pertect your self stun, gun peper spray, and a tellaphone.

2) its difalot to get tham back in to the usa and evin if thay do the cops will take kare of offinder.

3) less gun = less guns crims.

4) thare are menny biger probloms to wory about than tarists thare not much you can do eny thing about tham eny whay. thats for the cia and fbi to deel with.

ewm guns are illigal over here, i have my own, do you know how easy it was for me to get it? I went to a bad estate and asked around.

1) Oh yeah, pepper sray is gonna do alot against a guy with a gun... gimme a break.

2) Is your perception of reality that deluded? It would be a piece of cake getting them into the US undetected! They do it with drugs every day! The cops would help, be we have cops now, and they sure havn't eliminated crime!

3) Sometimes, but not this time. In this case, the people who have guns will be more motivated to use them. In fact, it will actually be safer for them to use their guns, because the government won't have any record of it.

4) I'm not talking about terrorism, just contries that don't like us making it easier for the criminals to get access to guns.

ewm thye eu have not kept it out of the general pop, i have a gun, my next door nighbour hae guns i know many people and i live on a very well bro8ght up estate, theres 4 gun shops in my town which are burgled regulary... the eu does feck all to stop gun crime (infact the eu does feck all anyway but hey.

ok, let me teach you a lossen (wow i missied quite a bit these past weekend:)
). in amsterdam there have been about 10 liquidations with druglords. they all used illigal guns and used drive by shootings.

that is like double from last year and that is only in amsterdam. and in holland it is illigal to buy guns and we have only a hand full of gunshops.

it only shows that the gun trade is very profital and easy to do.

only in america, you hav alot of those gun deaths like what you posted, only to stirr op emothions in other people. THE EU countries don't take part of those actions

ahum so far in the last 100 years we invaded iraq twice, afganistan irasel and palistien (WW2) and proberley a load of others belive me we are willing to kick the butts (the rest of the eu might not be but hey just making it known the uk ain't like the rest of the eu and must of the uk wants out of the eu.

makeing guns ilegal makes sher the flow is resused as i have stated over 10 or 20 times maan less guns on the street.
