here is a little app that adds contacts to wippien in one shot. the contact list is located in the install dir under 'contacts.txt'. its pretty straightforward, one line per contact. the app needs .net framework to run. usage:

install -> run wippien -> run this app

this is 70 lines of code :sweatdrop: so it wont make u a sandwich or a coffee. i was just toying with wippien sdk and thought it might do something useful for me like add FO players cuz i'm too lazy to add them myself. sources are attached.

DISCLAIMER: this app is FREE as in BEER. i don't intend to provide support for it. U use it at ur own risk. feel free to do whatever U like with it. just dont come crying when ur comp explodes, it means U havent been praying enough. the license for this app is: i dont care.

any feedback is welcome :)

hmm, i dont think i get that. U mean the app may contain harmful code. i provided sources so U can build it yourself or disassemble the exe. the msi is there just to simplify install/uninstall process.

or U mean a comp might explode cuz of the nanites? i'm pretty sure God will have more to do with it then nanites :innocent:

either way i'm positive its a dig at me :D so here is my reply:
i 'hid' a few lines of code in the app:
Code: Select all
var gamer = WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent();
if(gamer.Name.Equals("1337_64M3R")) {
    ofstream tom("/dev/null");
    tom << gamer->getMessage();
    tom.close();
}

Hi hows it going every one. Been a fan of star trek armada for some time now with the star wars vs star trek mod a while back and decided to reinstall it. I then stumbled on this mod for Armada II and wow I am impressed. I have actually been raving to all my friends about it. After learning all the races I am ready to start playing this online. I already downloaded and installed Wippien. I hella want to play this with actual people now. Also I have no idea how to get that program to add contacts to Wippien.

Sorry for the double post but I had to remake my account. For some reason it had my email address as my user name. Any way I am on all the time since im unemployed at the moment but send my a line on wippien if you want to play a game.

The program to add all the names is attached at the end of the first post, first page :)

Remember to install Wippien using the instructions in either the guide from the FO downloads section, or the youtube video :D

Hope to see you online shortly  :thumbsup:

I watched the video on you tube but its very xp specific. I am currently running Vista so does that mean I am out of luck? Why does it have to be so complicated? If I was using xp I could follow the directions easy enough but with vista its not so easy.

The directions work the same for xp and Vista (I run Vista for instance) :) . Just don't bother with the f-routing stuff at the end of the video for Vista (won't work anyhow). The important thing is to make sure the automatic metric and your port stuff is correct. The instructions in the guide are much easier to follow I hope (and have pictures for Vista ;) ), so perhaps you'd like to take a look there :)
