Wippien List/ID Loader: note all players switched to Tunngle

Download and install Wippien according to the instructions in the guide from the downloads section and I'm sure you will learn very quickly

Finally got around to playing vanilla A2 with a friend over LAN at his house, needed the patch project to get it all working (I'm on Vista and it worked fine until trying to join the lobby) but now I'm/were hooked

Onto fleetops next, he just needs a system that can actually run it... meanwhile, I (also finally) found the time to look up Wippien. I haven't installed it yet but I surely will very soon, so watch this space

What do you mean "a system that can run it"? If he's got windoze, then he can probably do flops.

Remember to keep up to date with new players folks. There are now above 50 players on Wippien.

95? It barely meets the specs for stock, and thet's far less demanding... nevertheless, I am trying to persuade him to just try installing it...

I'll install Wippien tomorrow, looks complicated.

Nah, it's pretty simple as long as you follow the directions. I'm sure everything will work well.

For anyone using Windoze 7 and are trying to get wippien to work without luck, this thread on the wippien site should have the info you need to get open VPN working.

Okay, that was far easier and more painless than I expected. As long as I don't think about how it works too much it's fine XD (Jokes, really everything is fine!)

Added everyone who posted their entries (I think.... Total comes to 30), but anyone else I haven't it's their job now
Same with MSN, for some reason it isn't working today so you'll have to add me (if you want to, obviously...)

Comments: I suck at live games because I'm too used to toying around with the AI like it's some kind of RPG. In vanilla A2 I used to send a galaxy into combat alone so I could try and rescue the saucer, then got wiped out because I didn't have ships or defences

EDIT: hopefully you installed according to the guide's instructions... seems a lot of people as of late never configured wippien properly

i'm running it at win7rc x64 and so far no problems except it seems having problems establish vpn with baleful

I wish Wippien had a way to add a batch of contacts at the same time. One by one is annoying.

And to anyone that just installed Wippien and has to add all 60 contacts it must look like a daunting job...
