Wippien List/ID Loader: note all players switched to Tunngle

I got Wippien working and every one added in but I cannot join FleetOperations@conference.wippien.com chat room. When I try to join it nothing happens, nothing comes up.

You have a Gmail account right? The chat room only works with a wippien account I'm afraid--but don't despair, it only takes .5 seconds to change it from a Gmail account to a wippien one

Cool thanks for all your help Dominus_Noctis I think I have everything working in a orderly fashion now. Phew hard part over.

Did you follow the youtube instructions or the written instructions in the guide in the FO downloads section?

i followed both, but i the problem i'm having is the registery thing tom gave us, i'm adding everyone onto the contact list 1 by 1 at this time

what seems to be a problem?

Did you make sure to run WippienFOsetup AFTER it installed? I made this mistake thinking the installation its self added the names. It will be located in the file ACME in program files, just run the file located there and the names will magically fill.

Well, the reason is because the Wippien may probably be replaced by some other network service within a year or two. Plus once the devs actually look into editing the net code (not anytime soon... but probable befor v 5.5), then we might not need it anymore because of a major lag reduction. They say they won't do it... but one of my many mottos is "Everything will become a priority someday, wether tomorrow or a century from now..."

Not anytime soon Gamer, don't knock something just because you don't use it. Wippien will be the best way to play FO for a long time. This post should be stickied sometime.
