You will need a student email in order to sign up for it. Im not sure if thats limited to college students or if it also includes highschool students as well.

Zeich im sure it was kind of a hassle for you to do but love it if you would do a few more of these videos also i would love to see how you unwrap it. Maybe its my technique that makes it take so long i should really take a class in this :)

How terrible its going to be when the centaur gets annilated in battle, the detail on this ship looks amazing.

Look on the bright side; when it gets blown to pieces, at least the pieces will be beautifully detailed.

The process does take a decent amount of time, but I would definitely like to do it again.  And next time I'll include the unwrap. There are a few reasons I did not include the unwrap with the Centaur, the major one being that it is pretty boring.  Unwrapping is not that creative a process and does not really make anything visually interesting to see.  Another reason is that I use two monitors to unwrap, which is a bit harder to capture.  But I'll make an effort next time to show you how I do it.

I opened an account, but I'm not really majoring in game design...so should I still use it then? Stupid question I know, but I thought I'd ask it.

Well, maya does not produce much sound during modeling :D

I can't wait for the new D'deridex... the current one isn't quite as intimidating as it should be.

Well i guess the main reason i ask is because im really just now getting a handle on how to do it and i would like to see it done on a ST ship.
