Your mod sounds great! I guess we both are making what can be considered a Star Trek Armada III mod (since no one has shown any interest in actually making one, I mean Activison, Maddoc or Paramount when I say that aof course). My mod is entitled Star Trek Armada II The Ultimate All Races Mod. It going to have a new campaign, as in a Fourth Campagin, there are going to be almost every race ever seen in Star Trek (except the minor ones of course) and the Fourth Campaign is going to feature all the races.

I do have a few crashing issues going on, these are mentioned in my other posts on other parts of the forums and they are all in threads started by me.

Maybe we can compare notes and help each other out on the mods and try solving any problems that we might be having.

The Undine.
I am also not kidding.

errrr i did call them the undine 2 posts up
Blade wrote:Update

the Undine are almost done (well done to make them appear similar to stock a2 8472) just need to go some final image work and test the specials then upto adding there new features and testing :D

Hopefully should be able to get a Beta version up by September

anyway the faction is called Sra'Xa'Diin this is a combination of the Noxter (fo2) and the Undine (species 8472)

Oh. Didn't notice that. Well anyways I think that a combo would definatly be interesting. They could meet and then work together to obliterate people.

i'm using a modified background story created originaly by some fans that explains the undine are a genetically modified version of the noxter

Well I don't know about the Undine and the Noxter being related, especially not the Noxter first. However, I would suppose that if they met each other then they could fuse and crossbreed and become more ultimate than before. The Borg's reaction? Oh @#^@!

The Borg wouldn't be alone in that opinion... 8472 would probably hate the Noxter as much as everyone else, though.

well who knows about the 8472 origin like i sed i'm using a slighty modified  fan background to show a relationship

Hey Blade, I am still struggling with the trade menus....were you able to figure out how to get the trade menus to display properly?

on the trade stations yh on the cargo ship no cargo ship needs hotkeys for it to be able to trade.

the undine are going well although i can not finish them until fo3.1.4 is released due to code breakings so i have decided to start on the noxter avatar. any suggestion for these are welcome but please dnt ask for new features just implimentations of what is already avaliable in fo3.1.3

They should utilize warpin, but have their ships warpin through a wormhole at the selected point.

free 8472 ships u sure thats wise lol but i think i know how it can be done or do u mean for the noxter

heh, either one I suppose.  I was actually thinking it would be cool if you could build beacons on the map, and every so often, a ship would come out of a wormhole that appears near the beacon.  or maybe, you just select a deploy point, and ships will come through that point, and then you have to set a new point.  to set the point, it would cost biomatter of course.

shud be doable. i did have something simular with m original riftmaker (it autospawned rifts that produced a single bioship at a random indival the only issue with this is that it wud spawn a load of blank meshes (not sure if eventually that wud start to affect system performance

Drat.  I really liked that.  are you still planning on ahving the main stations wormhole-in on avatar select like you had before?

yh the rift maker will gain a diff ability which is a mobile fluidic rift generator (like the borg transwarp hub  in a2 but mobile)
