Oh yea the double yard was a mistake I realized it as soon as I saw him just getting a refinery but it was embarrassing because of how easily he out microed me

You did well, fallout.  I was impressed at how well you were building up in the beginning, as we were almost mirror images of one another.  I think the other thing you could have done was cloak your ships, as I knew where they were headed.  Had they been invisible, I wouldn't have been able to be on top of you like that.

I was sad that Hal didn't click on any of my ships later on, because I was trying out a new build order.  I've coined it "Full-Power Leahvals" B), because it grants my leahvals their full potential at about the same time the third ship comes out.  We were both doing Stardust's early leahval build essentially, but this modification of it grants advanced energy reeling.  So when you attacked my expansion a second time, I had that on, which also makes metaphasic disruptor more powerful vs short-ranged vessels.

1v1s are pretty unforgiving, and one bad encounter can really set the tone early on.  I have a feeling next time you'll probably get me. :)  Once I get done with this Christmas present I'm making for my brother I'll be on and we can rematch.  I thirst for battle!

lol alright I'll see you on and I'm looking forward to another match. I was considering that upgrade but then I saw you getting those griffins and I didn't cloak so I could have full power with my repair systems but that might have been a mistake  :sweatdrop:

full power super ultra leahvals level 9000 is better :P

energy reeling really is a nice special, it may cost you to get to it, but the rewards do repay you.

Thanks for posting that, Ray

However I have noticed that the last 2 of your replays seem to have their sound fall out of sync with the video.  I'm sure you've noticed but I just thought I'd give you a headsup :D

My videos can do that too, and I'm not completely sure why.  In virtualdub there is a setting where you can move the sound files backwards or forwards to help sync it up a little.  I'm not sure about movie maker, but other video editors should do it as well.  I'm excited to watch these.

Hmm, i hadnt noticed that, do you know which videos and at what times?

Well, I always watch the replay before I send it out, just to make sure I know what the errors are.  If you watch these you can notice that they're out of sync (Boggz vs. Sutee).  In virutaldub, you can select the audio tab, then interleaving and put in the number of milliseconds you want to change it to.  Most of my videos don't have it in post production because I've tweaked them to be pretty close, which is why you don't notice it often.

That's actually one benefit of having the vids broken up, is that you can shift the sound to the right by a second or two at the start of each segment (works well for virtual dub, since I have to save and compress each segment individually).  I'm sure you'll get it working if you play around with it some.  It doesn't take away too much from the game, but it's relatively easy to fix as well.

Well i guess i need to get virtual dub up and running

Well, I'm sure whatever you are using can work as well.  You just need to change the interleaving on your vids a little.
