Some Minor Changes (especially Ships), I Request

Eh. The regeneration ability is a, nice idea, but doesn't really affect the gameplay in a giant manner. Yes, it's ok for after you are in a battle, and you don't have to worry about repairing one ship at a time, but it really has no use when you are the one under attack, but by a superior force. Regeneration then only give you back like 1-4 hitpoints every few seconds, and you're basically losing three or four times that amount, when the ship is being harrassed by all sides. :hmmm: -_-

If you make alot of ships like your suppose to, yes it does. They also have a wild card, nebulas. They are invinsible in nebulas because of their regenerating hulls and since they already dont use shields. Now if you get one of their breeders in a nebula, it isnt comming back out.

Hhhhmmmmm, the only way I can think of destroying it is, with those romulan long range artillery. Is there any other way???

I think that noxter should be replaced, by lets say species 8472, they are played roughly the same, and they would only have to replace the models. ^_^

Yea, Species 8472 had alot more of a story. There ships were cool too. Watch out when you see a fleet of 8 battleships, and a frigate at the center of a flying circle, or you'll be screwed over 100 times. :D

That would be so much fun to have them because you can let them be like the Borg whereas 1 ship costs alot but does alot of damage.

P.S. I thought it was 7 battleships in a circle and 1 in the center that fires that huge ass Biobeam, I could be (probably am) wrong but seems like thats what they did.

i think it was from 5 up to 8 battleships and a frigate.. *thinkin* ... maybe im wrong, cause i didnt play many times with them successfully.. but they was fun as hell while playin :D

In A2 I thought you had to have 8 Battleships to make the fun to gun giant Biobeam.

In A2 it's one frigate, and between 4 and 8 battleships

Yeah that beam is a very good weapon in theory, but in my experiance they dont go into place in time when they are in combat situation.

but i never saw the ai doin this megabeam attack... maybe im blinded or something but that never happened to me... and all the players i saw online didnt do it as well.. but... i would like to get the species back in this mod... wit them wellknown good textures and effects they´r doin here.. :D

mh well species 8472 will be in the mod of course, but it is planed as a non playable race.. but as any non playable race you will be able to hire their ships at some neutral station on certain maps.
i don't want them to be a playable race, cause there isn't much known of them and i believe the unknown is what makes them so special :)
