Prometheus Class

Hi everyone. I just drifted in here today after playing Armada 2 and Fleet Ops obsessively for the past couple of weeks.

I did a search on this, and I didn't see it being discussed before, so I do apologize if I'm asking a question already discussed.

Anyway, one of my favorite parts about playing the Federation in Armada is using a wonderful Prometheus- class fan model. Are you planning a Prometheus class for 3.0?

yes it has ben ask no harm in bringin it up its some thing new to tolk about.

personly i dont like the pomesos very much its look bothers me. but i can thing of a good use for it. to replace the Descent Class that looks like a older next genaration ship.

i wouldnt bother asking for it cause the way it goes round here with user requests is that one in a hundred are actually used so

we'll ewm i'm not keen on replacing the descent, it's a kewl ship, so stop trying to get the descent replaced

I am all for canon and descent does look a bit emmmm "strange", so maybe a model redo or something is defenetly needed, I dont know if replacing it is sucha good idea though......

If the Prometheus does star in FO, i won't replace the Descent simply becuase contuary to common belief, the Prometheus is actually smaller than a battleship. I think it's more the size of an akira.

However, it would be cool as an avatar ship, especially if someone kindly showed the FO team how to get the MVAM to work

I am sure they can figure that up on their own, and I know its smaller than a battleship, its its strenght thats important and strenght vise it is most certanly as strong as a battleship

i am fairly sure that mvam can be done using the same commands as the one that generated a freghter after bulding a minning facility

I might be wrong here but didn't they talk about adding the Prometheus in FO 4? Wasn't it supposed to be a "Hero" ship or something?
