I said rarely, and the Borg only take what they consider worthy. They ignore or destroy most ships they encounter.

ok I surender about Artillery topic,but no way can dreadnaught be made in mixed tech.Lets put Cubes,Tavaras,Bortas,and Phalanx classes to mixed tech to balance it

Mixed-Tech doesn't include battleships, the Dreadnought and Defiant are the only exceptions to that rule.

Nothing in the rules that says they don't prepare their dreads for specific races, almost like adaption for the borg.  They did it with their Alpha- jem'hadar, they can do it for their ships if they want.

Optec has said there will be some large changes to mixed tech, so chances are it won't stay as it is now.

its ok exception to destroy Dreadnaught by putting it in mixed tech,another ok exception to put second upgraded version of defiant into mixed tech but its not ok to make any other unit suffer from such a unfair disadvantage like Dreadnaught? I get it now,Dominion is least favorite race and nobody gives a f__k about anything like this becose for most people its only good thing to put most un popular race at disadvantage


I bet that if phalanx or cube were made avaliable in in mixed tech only  in 3.1.4 ...there would be two hundred pages long thread about how wrong it is,

dread isnt at a disadvantage. its a nice ship with a good special.

dominion isnt at a disadvantage. they are a powerful race. they dont even need the dread to be good.

your attitude seems confrontational, demanding and rude. i suggest you change this for your own good. if u damage your reputation any further you may find nobody is willing to listen to your ideas/suggestions.

just some friendly advice. this is a friendly community after all. lets keep it that way.

2. Why then Romulans dont need mixed tech for Tavara? thats not fairplay there



Dreads as seen in DS9 episodes are purely Dominion.They are very important part of my Dom strategy,and its nearly impossible to made them without ally.It also drains space for other mixed tech improved units that should be there.For example,Dominion dont have any regular un limited units that with artillery range attacks ( except Hyperspace Artillery but that is extremly limited and slow ,and that siege cruiser special ability isnt proper artillery unit too) ... even Klingons gain unlimited  unit with normal attack that have artillery range from dom mixed tech!!! if klingons can have it,then dominion must have.

I completely agree with this, and no funnystuff the tavara is not hard to reach at all.

I have hardly ever used the Dread but when I have i've never lost one.

Each race is already unique, none of them are "fucked up" (Furthermore you should watch your language - NO SWEARING).

He's not out of his place at all . If he doesn't like seeing that language, it's fine for him to say so. These forums are for the most part self-moderating (except in really bad situations), and most everybody tries to restrain themselves from personal attacks, swearing, and the ilk

funnystuff is right, tavara requires pretty much every romulan building to be built first. thats a big outlay for romulans to do.

Even then, the thing isn't at full strength and you need around 1000 of each resource again to complete it.

its much quicker than assimilating enemy constuction ship,building the star base and researching it.and much easier also,
