lol u can win the game with generix. and u dont need the global upgrades from upgrade facility.
i dont build generix, i find them too easy, like feds, they have training wheels on. maybe frigates can be justified. maybe.

No im not wrong im romulan very often... you are wrong, and who said anything about doing it early, to get rhien refit which is something i use for raids early you need the upgrade facility, in order to upgrade weapons like sensor jammer or laheavals you need the research insitute and in order to get better battleships like the norexan or the tavara or for genrix upgrades you build the talshia academy in a 2v2 or 3v3 you can do this very quickly. I should know iv done it enough times.

you are wrong, u just wont admit it.

if u go rhienn refit spam then u wont need talshiar facility.
if u need big d u wont have talshiar either.
if u need norexan u wont have upgrade facility.
there is always 1 u dont need to build unless u are switching strategies a lot, which as romulan is costly.
if u wanna waste your precious money on building stations u dont need then go ahead, u will be an easy opponent.
the reasonable time to have all 3 rom research stations is not early.
the point u are contending (if u actually remember anymore, it seems like u have continued this argument just cos u dont wanna be proved wrong) is that tavara is easy to get to, and 1 v 1 it isnt, because it needs so many buildings. and u dont get those buildings early. u can get them late, but most romulan games end without all 3 romulan research stations being built.
in a team game u can tech as fast as u damn well like, but if u need a team mate to tech to something fast then its definitely hard to get, as u need 2 players just to rush to it.
just like cube, in a 4v4 u can pool your resources and rush up to cube, but alone its hard to get to, just like the tavara is.
follow my argument, u will see that it is full of reason. funnystuff's original point is right.
he went for tavaras once in a game with me. i had 3 spheres and a diamond to fight back with. tavara isnt easy to get to. but when u get there in later game, its worth it.

. A2 had so many nasty bugs, some of which are still being fixed in A2 now. Most people didn't even recognize them so much as bugs, as just "features" they could abuse.
name some of those "features".In original A 2 I found only one bug after three weeks of playing it,Ferengi ships getting trapped in trade station.In FO I found new bug everyday,I never played in my life game that have so much bugs like FO yet I didnt played better game than FO.Dont get me wrong I really enjoy it but bugs are there,just look at 3.1.3 bug report thread,thats pretty crazy list for something that exist so long and was patched one and half month before.

I could name several pages, but I'll limit it to just a few that I can remember off the top of my head

Disablers causing subsystems to break when damaged.
Cloak breaking subsystems.
Decommission noise lasting forever.
Building remotely (via minimap).
Warping ships getting stuck on asteroid belts.
Normal ships getting stuck on asteroid belts/nebulae
Fusion command being interupted via ships flying through.
Separation command causing weapons to miss once the sections fuse.
General ship physics issues.
'Sorry, there is not enough memory to continue'
Stack overflow issues
...
And that doesn't even begin to cover all the bugs the 1.2.5 PP fixes :sweatdrop:
I of course won't mention any of the balance issues or coding issues (such as no wide screen support, many features being hardcoded, a software renderer...), because... well ...

First, your last part makes me think of something, I have always left two fleets in my base for base protection, usually one fleet is cloaked and the other isn't. You might try and succeed in heavily damaging the first fleet, but since I create all my fleets and number them, if I notice through the mini-map that my base is under attack I select the cloaked fleets number and decloak them, and normally they are battle ships lying in wait. For the Federation, its usually would be Galaxy-class X-Refits or the Opaka-class. (Of course this is regular Star Trek Armada II though).
I wouldn't mind the same thing about warp, you hit the nail right on the head with that one.
Well either way, I wish some people would at least attempt to try and help me some the crashing problems with my game so I can actually get back to playing the game and also creating my mod. I feel that the community isn't in the mode to even help given the size of my posts describing the airs and then the sad part is almost everyone just suggests uninstalling and starting over. But then the same errors just happen again and again and at different points in the creation of the mod. Literally I mean diffeerent points, all added racs are in the game and after they were all added, the only crashing problems still revolved aroundf the increased shield/health HitPoint Values, and that problesm only started after increaing thouse valuesfor the Borg, Dominion and Breen ships. The nof course these's the Trading Station/Cargo Ship error that's interfering with all races and the second Federation Campaign Mission, this is one of those errors that has happened "Randomly" in each attempt at this mod, never at the same point.

actually it was hold down alt and give the standard move order (could be left or right click depends on options)
holding shift changed the height of the order.
another annoying "feature" was height, for BC full 3d was ok, but for an rts the height was just plain annoying.
