Crates!!!!

But don't make them crates... make them swirling lights and give them a name fitting for something created by Q. This way you could actually trekiefy this feature and would have no argument against adding all those very different effects!

46: 24 Dominion bugs are sent on a collision course to the nearest Starbase. It's the avoidable version of your Starbase blows up, as everyone has sensor info on their heading.
47: Indestructible Sec. 31 ship spawns and wreaks havoc with the players.
48: Completely obliterates your combat ships.
49: Spawns 3 derelict Descent classes
50. spawns a derelict Borg Sphere with maxed out phasers and research.
51: Passively makes it so that the next player to lose becomes a Q and is allowed to use a limited version of Map Edit to wreak havoc.
52: Spawns a Unity One on your side.

While the Dominion bug ideas are very cool, the Q idea i can see being abused... by me

Borg sphere could be cool. The Descent, not 3 but 1 could work, 3 is overpowering, what if a romulan player with 5 tavara got 3 descent.

maybe add a option for crates:
no crates
normal crates (boosts or something)
crazy crates
so everyone gets what they want
no crates

For the Q thing, you can't delete Starbases, you CAN however move them to the original edge of their sensor range, removing them from battle, you can only delete 8 ships every 2 minutes, you can't alter the map itself, you can only remain like that for 3 minutes, etc. Anyone who wants to add on can.

What's to stop a player from adding a few thousand Borg Cube's in every enemy base?

You can't spawn anything over a certain vessels (like Cubes,), you can only add 36 ships at a time, you CANNOT make them invincible, you CAN, however, make them CannotDie, vessels become the team that has the nearest Starbase, etc. I can see, however, the possibility of IMBA if there are no guidelines. But, Tyler, thanks for pointing that out to me

I know the idea was kinda turn into a Q for a few seconds and be able to wreak havok over the whole of the map but that seems a bit much to me. why not have it that your able to spawn 1 random ship anywhere on the map and its disposition to you should be random to, so if you spawn it near where your fleet is attacking the enemy it might turn on you.

i really think it should just me a spectator mode, allowing the player to see the map for a short time.
