Federation is underpowered unless they are being used in tripple-Federation teams.  Then they're overpowered.

yea of course they are, i agree with you.
Maybe we should give excell2 full firing arc for torpedoes, increased hit rate chance! why suply costs for warp ins, they can carry suplies from the sectors they came from , and put only engineering to be built after you can get warp in. How about all warp ins are officers once you get them! you can make them veteran if you want!

Forward and aft torpedo launchers would be nice for the Excelsior II.  In fact, not having forward and aft torpedo launchers is stupid!  The rest of the stuff you mentioned is just overpowered!  However, having the warpins with random ranks would be realistic.  But all the same ranks, no!

If your mental capacity to understand when someone taking the piss out of you to go by is any indication of your capacity to play a strategy game i suggest you move onto something more your level, there used to be a great online game called ChoCho Rocket for the Dreamcast, i suggest you take a look...

honestly the feds on their own are a deadly force, they have a unit that nearly counters every other unit... Vetted Warpins are just killer, especially once you have loads and is the Excel 2 the only ship you use, tried early intrepid spam, i dunno, maybe saber and monsoon combo? avalons are now deadly?

honestly your post makes my stomach churn... and people like you are the future of the human race...

I'm not sure what rules this forum has against insulting other users, but on most other forums I visit you would have just been banned temporarily, or given a warning at least.  There's no reason to attack other people directly on a forum.  If you don't like them, you don't have to post at all.  How does your post help the situation?

  I completely agree.  Only when you can warp 9 free ships onto a single point at once do the Feds start to see some OP-ness (say that out loud ).  I think that Feds should have:


• 25% reduced costs across the board.
  
• 25% faster building speed (back to Mayson pre-3.1.2 days) for BOTH avatars.
• 50% increased damage with photon torpedoes (because they're packed with Homo Sapien goodness).
• Sabers should have the ability to go "Super-Saiyan Saber where their engines turn yellow and they scream really loudly.
• All Chassis should be free (because the Federation doesn't use money)

As a drawback to keep them balanced:

• Every once in a while Federation ships should be unable to stop until they run into / kill someone (because their engines were made in Japan).

im sorry i upset you all in my response, however i very rarely post on here unless i feel passionate about a subject...

You will see my post clearly pointed out counter arguments to his over powered statement as well that just saying he was being sarcastic wouldnt have covered...

and if they want to ban me they can, it really is no skin of my nose but he just reminds me of numerous other people on here who just moan to make a game easier to suit their own needs...

he could easily learn to mod it himself if he plays single player and have it how he wants it, the guide says exactly what to do.

at the moment, we do not think that the Federation is underpowered. You might want to chose a more offensive oirented faction for your gameplay, like the Klingons.

On a side note. It's okay to disagree with a topic, but pleaste state opinions and describe why you disagree. Simple picture or vid topics will be threatened as spam. And Optec haz big gunz for spam!
