Fed warp in - too many powerful ships too soon?
You feel like a battlecruiser is too weak or a race too strong? Go ahead and discuss it here :)

I wish so badly I could play online still and show anyone who needed one a proper counter to a warp in rush. Sadly, I'll have to do with examples
Alright, since I'm almost always a Romulan (dabling with the klingons lately) the easiest thing to ever do to counter any form of a warp in rush is this:
1. build yard, build research, build 5 rhienns, 5 griffins (oh, im always helev
)
2. use griffins for base defense, and send the rhienns towards enemy main base, while you mop up with the griffins (they have comparable stats to a galaxy class).
3. wipe out enemy mining, starting with trit, by that time there should be a wave of canavs and newtons heading towards you or you're secondary mining, so you'll want to pump out more griffins and spread them around.
4. once enemy fleet is in ruins, and their mining is obliterated, send everything to their base, and win

i dont think u get it. the idea is to repair ur rhienn and for ur opponent to actually fire at them and not ur miners. if u loose even 1 rhienn thats just bad micro as u have a yard right next to where u fight. i'll just show u online and we will get back to it then...
Since I just spotted this ... so your idea is for you to have good micromanagement and your opponent to have poor micromanagement? If I attack from the side farthest from where your Rhienns can enter the Staryard, they will very rarely make it back for repairs. Likewise, if I kill your mining in the meantime, and not your Rhienns, then you will starve for resources due to the early shipyard investment. Finally an opposing strategy also depends on the layout of ships a Fed player receives. For instance if you are hit with two Steamrunners, that Shipyard is dead before you can do anything at all. If you had instead not invested in the Staryard, recovery would be easier.

i was wondering why u ignored my aggressive reply
my idea is to repair my ships where the fight is and if they make it to the yard is up to my micro not my opponent's
now i'm so interested of ur strat that i must play a few games with u

You can just read the guide that's posted if you want. The strategies are nothing special, but have been rigorously tested. The most important thing to remember about the Warp In is that those ships cost resources too. So to expect to lose nothing is unrealistic.
