Yes I'm aware now.

I wasn't sure if it was damaged mode or not but that was my guess.

Someone told the cloak follow bug was fixed. Well it seems not...it is still possible to e.g. cloak a rom scout and follow ships even when they cloak. I could watch this behavior in a game as observer.

deathincarn wrote:ok last nite i found a bug where i tried using the Ctrl + C hotkey to cloak my units, the game completely crashed

Hi everyone, last night i had the same issue/bug, when cloaking my fleet of Negh'Vars to intercept the rest of the pitiful borg on the map and crush them. Used the hotkey Ctrl+C as well.  >:( :crybaby:

Back in march i had another crash, if memory serves, when loading a savegame in the menu. In the meantime, i changed my graphics adapter, because i realized, i had an empty pci slot in my docking station.  :D The driver of the onboard adapter was deinstalled, of course.

Crash report file is attached. The error details name my last action.

Thx for any help! Live long and prosper!

yesterday i noticed something when playing as borg....  :borg:

Adaptors can use High Energy Slicer only with Regeneration Module....
any other combination of modules without one Regeneration Module simply does not have enough energy... to use it

is this intended or mistake?  :borg:

If it has a weapon that it can't use, either the weapon or the energy is likely to be a mistake.

It could be intentional, though. Just like the Canaveral not being able to use blackout in a certain mode.

i'm gonna bet its a mistake, as the slicer is available on all the other small chassis borg ships, just the smaller the ship the lesser the power.

but as you mention that seems like a nice feature, lower borg chassis ships only get certain collective features when given energy boosting modules. i think all the ships should keep devestating attack and slicer, as that seems like bread and butter, maybe boarding could be denied to smaller ships with too little energy.

good catch mort.

the bord AI may need some adjustments also: the AI pops out the assimilators and spheres in way to big numbers in the early game. Result was that my 15 akiras stood against 7 assimilators and 4 spheres ... with other words i got wtfowned

if you was gonna spam something intrepids might have been better lol. their trico torp is really good at munching on borg, and they are fast and can escape, and assim torps miss them more.

i find taking the fight to the ai helps, if you go after their fleet it will keep them busy. if u be ultra careful and retreat ships that take damage, even if u dont get any kills it will delay them. they will keep a damaged ship in the fleet as well, so you can kill it easier later.

Meanwhile back on the topic... :P

Borg (though I really can't recall it these were reported before now  :sweatdrop: ):
Nanites does not hit cloaked units even though the tooltip says it does.
The Sensor Relay still says it emits a ping even though it doesn't :)

Woops, sorry about that Myles :). Ya know, the first thing that goes when you get older is - hm, what was I talking about?

reported both of them already dom. i think optec said he will correct the sensor relay tooltip error.

the nanites 1 got no response i dont think, maybe its intended, i mean if the deploying ship cant detect the cloaked ship maybe the nanites cant either, maybe they arent clever enough to realise that the invislbe wall they bumped into is a cloaked ship lol.

i believe there is an energy bug on the canavaral on vet level... the blackout say's it cost 200ish energy or something but eats all the energy

this is from 3.1.1, i'm not sure about 3.1.2  :s

Must be 3.1.1. All Blackouts in this version say the 429 it takes.

I found something with the Generix Support refit. When you upgrade a Generix to a Support refit, it lowers the offensive value by 3, but does not say this on the tooltip.

Borg Incubation Centers

This is not a major bug, but it also recrews nearby stations, it's special also recrew's allies as well as your own vessels :)

like i said it's nothing major cuz borg can recrew easily and have large crew complement ^^;

*according to incubation description it only recrews nearby vessels*

The sovvie's distortion field doesn't seem to work sometimes.

i triggered it on several neggies, their owner had done all engine upgrades. the effect clearly hit a neggie, when i checked the systems, it hadnt disabled engines.
