3.1.0 Bugs

not sure if these are bugs, but

i noticed the SabERs seemed a bit slower than before.

also,  the Dominion Carrier ship, doesnt have a button to launch fighters, they just appear.

for the grouping problem:

lets make a hypothetical scenario:

all your ships are near eachother after repairing.

in fleet 1: 30 akiras (just for fun :P )

in fleet 2: 29 sabres (only one more to go  :sweatdrop: )

your yard has just created the 30th sabre and you want to add it to fleet 2.

you can't do the control+shift+2 combo to add it.

but you do this:

deselect all everything.

push 2, to select the 29 ships in fleet 2.

hold shift and click the 30th sabre.

push ctrl+2

it takes longer but has the exact same effect. so there's no need to move the ships away from other ships to drag a selection box over them.

and the Breen Dampening missle disappearing once the ship reaches ANY rank?  (the question that STARTED this thread)

the breen missile has just been fixed by optec.
i have just fixed the (perimeter) blocking bug too and now i begin working on the add-to-group bug.

damn, you guys move fast. no wonder this is such a great mod. if the powers that be had paid people with your dedication to make legacy it wouldnt have been so awful.

Will these fixes be released in a 3.1A patch? You know... one of those lifesaver patches? You did it before in a previous patch (3.07PR I think) where you rereleased a fixed version because of all the bugs ringing in immediately after release.

I'm not sure if this happened in past versions:

If you have a fleet selected and you wanna change the AI (for example the special weapons AI) via the the submenu it drops you back to the default GUI menu whenever a ship of the fleet ranks up. That can be VERY ANNOYING in larger battles.

This problem should apply to any sub menu.

Generix Class Support Refit: On high special weapon autonomy they don't heal shields of nearby friendly ships and stations...they even don't use any special weapon.

Just tried to maximise Fleet Ops and it dissappeared, saying "Failed to boot Direct3D" or something similar.

funny you say this i always thought of fleetops as legacy in stragitic mode..
btw (off the topic) legacy shold have been armada 3 (stragitic view with the ability to zoom in and control a single ship), so much potential..

fleetops is better than legacy, the game is whole and complete, and has few serious bugs, its not resource hungry, and the design is good. legacy was a mess.

The physics engine was practically the same :P

But back to bugs, the Nebula and Steamrunner at minimum, don't have their special weapon listed as one of their systems like other ships do.

Also, the tachyon ping system doesn't have a reloading animation like standard and special weapons.

- Eraudi yard is mising 30 sec construction delay button
