I love that you think I'm somehow angry .  Caps don't mean I'm angry.  Caps means I'm emphasizing something so there's NO POSSIBLE WAY YOUR EYEZ CAN MISS IT .

you sound angry, and very petty. caps arent needed for clarity, especially when u are repeating the same point again in caps, hoping that it will make it somehow stronger.

 Sarcasm is the only thing left.  You express opinions as fact and go nuts on anyone who disagrees.  

sarcasm is the weakest form of argument, it shows you have nothing to say. and i love how you think that i'm somehow going nuts (wanted to use your sentence structure from earlier ),  if u consider logic and reasoning going nuts, i suggest you stay 100 metres from your nearest courtroom.

I've seen you play only in a tiny number of replays

you havnt seen me in any replays , i havnt been in any. when i find time to play i am in a different timezone from other replay makers, and i spend a lot of my fo time making replays.

I don't have confidence that you're a strong player.  I don't agree with much of your commentary "suggestions", so I don't have confidence in your ability to judge the balance of things, nor your strategy.  

you wanna make this a pissing contest on who is the stronger player? wow, thats low even for you boggz. obviously you have more online time than me, and are a stronger player. what is obviously false is that you think you know it all and know more about fo than me. you are extremely arrogant to believe that u can dismiss my points simply by saying you are the stronger player.

I figured I'd try and provide EVIDENCE  to show you things that might refute what you're saying.

you tried to provide evidence, which is something good, you provided poor quality evidence though, which isnt as good.

Calm down a bit guys. Though I must say I'm not really getting the difference between "the veq won't help" and "the veq won't do the job", but that's just me and English is a foreign language to me.

i apologise if i have been unclear, i can understand how somebody with english as a secondary language could be confused , i dont think for a native english speaker it is confusing though.

just to clarfiy to anyone who doesnt have native english:

i was talking about the special in all my posts, the special wont help, meaning that the assim is already really slow, and any klingon fleet will keep up with it with ease and murder it. the special slows down things, and is generally useful as ships can go repair or get to turrets, but against something so incredibly slow, and it has no yard, the veq special wont give you much more than the veq already does. good torps, which are in general good vs borg. but with the veq, its a specialist ship, needs its own extension, and field research for special, and is really weak. the veqs will do the job, but other things will do it better, and the veqs will be a liability if the borg make something other than assims. like scubes or probes.

Boggz, shut up already. I'm so sick of reading your logic mixed with all that silly talking. Just because you're one of the most experienced players in the community DOESNT MEAN YOU KNOW ANYTHING. Nobody cares if you're right, because you're sarcastic and that makes everything you say pointless and wrong. If Myles wants to correct other's opinions for being wrong, then YOU SHOULD NOT INTERFERE because he is right and being right is the only important thing on this forum. And the Veq thing...you're totally wrong there...its like saying "Pyramids are slow" and calling that the same as "Pyramids have a low speed", when they're CLEARLY two DIFFERENT things.

it is arrogant, very arrogant, it does count for something, but not for everything. and if u truly believe that you know it all because you are more experienced, then you are delusional. i hope you arent like this in real life, such a large ego could easily strain interpersonal relations. i feel a little sorry for you, i recognise some of my own worst qualities in your posts.

he is right and being right is the only important thing on this forum.

i like that phrase, i dont think being right is everything, a lot of the time i debate for the debate, not for making people say i was right. my most enjoyable debates have been with tyler, and they nearly always end in agree to disagree.

and you are wrong in that belief. im not gonna have a pissing contest with you, because its clear you value yourself on how good at fo you are. in which case you arent the best, anyway, there are better than you. just because you are better at fo than some people, doesnt make your points correct and there's incorrect automatically.

  You're absolutely right.  My self-worth is directly tied to how I perform in FO.  More than that - my self-worth is proportionally determined by how many arguments I win in the forums.

keep dreaming, i've watched replays where you are a co-commentator, your ego fills up the game and your loud voice drowns everyone out. nobody gets a word in. ray once made a replay where you talked so much that he practically wasnt a commentator, i actually felt sympathy for him, cos u muscled him out of his own replay every time you interrupted him i shook my head.

ray never said anything during that replay except for the intro, you kept cutting him off 2 words into each sentence. whether ray is ok with it or not isnt in question.

ok guys i would like to point out that experience does count for alot, whether it come across as arragant or not  .

it certainly counts for something.

nobody is questioning that boggz is a good player, he is far better than me. but that doesnt mean he is correct and i am not. that has to be decided on the merits of our arguments, not on the strength of the arguer.

example, dominus is way better at fo than i am. but i point out a typo in the guide, and he corrects it. if we work under ths assumption that experience is all that matters, then the typo would remain until somebody with dominus' level of experience corrects it. rather extreme example, but it shows that sometimes pros make mistakes.
