Escorts, the last type of ship I expected to have an entire lineage of... USS Vegeta NCC-93291. From Akira, to Defiant Refit, to Prometheus.

Where are we?! and how did we get here

I got a promie, but wasn't fond of the extra science slot. I used a Fleet Escort for a while, but eventually went back to the defiant. saved up for the Retrofit with the cloaking device. really cool.

I love the extra science station on my Tac captain's Prometheus. I have Science Team and Polarise Hull on always, and I swap my officers around to get either Hazard Emitters or Tractor Beam Repulsors, depending on what's more appropriate.

Wierd looking retrofit...not a Vigilant, but also not a Gallant. Can't really see the colors very well.

I think she is a straight cross between a vigilant and a defiant. She is also the retrofit, which is basically a VA rank defiant. Here are its out of box stats.

Minimum Rank: Vice Admiral
Crew: 50
Weapons: 4 Fore, 3 Aft
Device Slots: 2
Bridge Officer Stations: 1 Commander Tactical; 1 Lt. Commander Tactical; 1 Ensign Tactical; 1 Lieutenant Engineering; 1 Lieutenant Science
Console Upgrades: 3 Engineering, 2 Science, 4 Tactical
Base Turn Rate: 17 degrees per second
Impulse Modifier: 0.20
Hull Strength: 30,000

EDIT: actually, I just bought a purple quality tactical warhead yield chamber too.

I've seen the Retrofit in the store a few times, never really interested in the Cloak (went through the entire Klingon campaign and almost never used it). Yours looks like Gallant hull and Vigilant nacelles/nose.

The image doesn't seem to work.

My newest ship, the USS Elfreda NCC-93261. No prizes for guessing the class... probably won't be much use for this character, though any future ones will benefit.

I wish you had the ability to retrofit any class up to VA rank. That would be cool.

They now have special VA 'Fleet' versions of many ships. Buy a C-Store ship and get a discount on its Fleet counterpart.
