An alternate intro for Enterprise. Apparently, this music was going to be on the intro before Executive Meddling forced a change to the much-hated one they eventually used.

Prototype intro, before Executive Meddling:

Even earlier intro, including the opening narration of other series:

Not that I have a problem with the very fitting production version, mind you.

That sounds like the credit music they play at the end of the episode.

i preferred the one they actually used.  I thought it was an awesome sone, but not very trekky  I believe they play this song during the credits at the end.  And the E-Guitar is a little much :whistling:

It is. It's called Archer's theme I think.

Yep, Archer's Theme.

It's perfect for Enterprise, really fits this series. Wouldn't work for the others, though.

I've added a second, even earlier version that resembled the older series even more.

Heh, maybe if they had changed the music it would have made a better series :D

I actually really like that new one, but I still don't like the music much.  I really liked the origionl ENT song.(before they sped it up...)

Interesting, especially the second video with the voice over of Scott doing the monologue.  I always felt the show could have used a new intro by season four, and that second video could have been it!  Or at least something really close to it.

they did that with the ds9 theme too. why do themes have to get faster and have more instruments :( i liked them both the way they were.

How dare you bring up this godaweful show!! A show with lyric theme song doesn't even deserved to be considered as star trek! OMGFLOGOSAURUS!  :schmoll: :schmoll: I'm gonna start a petition to get it removed from cannon!

sorry that's usually the first reaction when someone brings up enterprise. I like that theme, but faith of the heart fits better. Man that's really the one of the best songs you could pick for a star trek show.

Iam tired of pepole knocking Enterprise, nothing wrong with the show , shows the history of exploration, and show's a great shot of NASA WHICH IS NEVER MENTIONED. Archer didnt take shit, not some left wing bleeding heart LIBERAL. I like the alternate intro. I love that song for the intro "ITS BEEN A LONG ROAD" . Iam not sure what trolling means but if you are meaning am i worked up "YES"

by trolling i mean it appears u have tried very hard to bring politics into this thread, where it's completely off topic.

im not from america, but from the american media (films, games etc) i have experienced, it seems to me that u are a right wing american who is insulting the left wing who u call "bleeding heart liberals" correct me if im wrong. as i understand it, this phrase will only polarise the left and right even further. it seems your liberal comment could have been removed without detracting from the meaning/content/point of your post at all. you placed the word "liberal" in all caps, as if to highlight your disdain for liberal people.

in general trolling is saying something controversial or insulting with the intent of insulting or generating a reaction from others,

it appears to me that you're not trying to stimulate a debate, you are just insulting people. the worst thing is you're not even doing it "for teh lulz" as many trolls do. sometimes trolling is funny if u manage to generate funny reactions from easily angered groups, but your trolling can't possibly lead to lulz.

also it would have been better if u placed your reply to my comment in a new post after my comment, to keep things in chronological order. as i nearly didnt realise you had edited your post.
